I honstley did bot know him before we bought him. I liked how he made us click in the first few games but one he got figured he did not jave a solution. The problem with specialist players as you say is thag they are so Limited. Sacrificing a whole starting spot just for someone to control the tempo is a bad deal imo..Kroos at least can shoot and has more accurate long range passing than Joriginho. Ballack could also control the tempo from deep and was a thread from range and a force in the air. Lamparf obviously was a complete playmaker and scored 300 goals on top, Nusquets can defend and read the game like no other. Jorginho can just play short passes at a deliberate pace and mediocre mid range passes and interception ability thats it. Not that he is a bad player. He has put in a lot of hard work in the last few weeks and i can not blame his attitude he seems like a decent bloke but for 65m we could have gotten a true worldclass midfielder, an Allrounder who has passes, tackles, runs and goals in him.

Pretty decent lineup. i think it will be the draw..liverpool need the win even more than we do so they will be attacking strongly. We need to use the break opps we will get and we will be fine. I am sure Sarri will start kovacic for his defensive work rate tho. cant nail down what is special about this kid apart from his awareness for space and positioning. He is neither fast nor world class technique nor particularly agile. HIs passing and finishing seems good but nothing out of this world. we will but i somehow do not see him as future superstar.

Higuain for sure but Giroud? not really. there are players who had 100 games more at his age. It is modern football. 10,15 years ago some players could maintain a world class level until ther mid 30ies. Today only very vew players can.

I do not think he is ready yet. he obviously is too good for the championship but in the premier league he had really hit and miss games like any inexperienced player has and I do not see him as a fundamentally changed player since then. But I think he is already better than Solanke and Borini ever were, so if one academy graduate striker will make it its him. Can not put all the burden on his shoulders tho. If we really can not register players in summer he should be our 2nd striker, i am just not sure who should be first of michy, giroud and higuain

or simply Batshauyi. He would be on a hattrick already. With the combined creative force of Hazard, CHO and RLC we do not need a striker who is fancy in his hold up play but simply someone who puts chances away.

i mean the control in this tight space was class but an experienced striker should know the right decision there.
