Nothing you can do about that. That's why you need to be 2 or 3 up in a game - so these things don't derail you. Need a good January window- clear out, freshen up. Sadly we are a long way behind the other teams. Their stability over 4-5 years is paying dividends. Our shortermism is now biting us in the arse... although it was successful at the time.

Sarri sees these guys every day and I can't believe it's just stubbornness that prevents him from playing others - he must be balancing out lots of variables.
