Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have again stated Chelsea have a verbal agreement with Juventus over the permanent transfer of Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian international moved to Juventus on loan during the summer transfer window, after his winter move from Fiorentina hadn't worked out. Cuadrado had been much wanted whilst with the Florence club and Juventus were just one of the sides linked. However, Juventus and Fiorentina have a troubled history with transfers and that was always likely to be a difficult move. Cuadrado ended up at Chelsea but Jose Mourinho soon lost patience. Gazzetta dello Sport say Chelsea and Juventus have come to an agreement over a €22m transfer, to be completed as soon as January. But they also say further 'important meetings' are to be held, after the matter was brought to the attention of Roman Abramovich. Cuadrado has become so important to Juventus since his loan move that Chelsea may well feel they can get more than €22m, which would suggest Gazzetta dello Sport may have jumped the gun on this. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/chelsea-reach-verbal-agreement-on-next-transfer-abramovich-aware
