Sky Sports News understands Derby County have been contacted by a number of candidates enquiring about the manager's job at Pride Park - but all of them have been told there isn't a vacancy. Derby have categorically refused to engage in any sort of discussion with the would-be managers or their representatives, so as not to undermine their current relationship with Frank Lampard, with whom they are still negotiating an improved and extended contract. Derby owner Mel Morris said yesterday that they want Lampard to stay for the long term, and they are building their plans around him. However, it's expected that Chelsea will soon make a move for Lampard to take over from Maurizio Sarri - though there has been no formal contact with Derby so far. Chelsea's all-time leading scorer is currently away on holiday, but is in regular contact with his representatives over developments at Pride Park.

Crystal Palace have rejected a bid of £50m from Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Sky sources. Palace are unhappy with the structure of the bid, which would be an initial £35m plus £15m in add-ons for the 21-year-old right-back. It is understood Palace would accept a straight £50m bid from United for Wan Bissaka.

Tottenham will have to pay up to £63m to land their number one summer transfer target Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon. Sky Sports News understands negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, although a deal is not close to being agreed. The versatile midfielder, who cost Lyon just £7m last summer, is currently on holiday and will take that time so consider his future before deciding on his return in July.

Chelsea have turned down attempts by Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to sign Willian – despite the possibility of losing him for free next summer. The two La Liga clubs are understood to have offered around £35m for the Brazil international. However, Chelsea view Willian as an integral player next season in light of Eden Hazard’s departure to Real Madrid and the first period of a two-window transfer ban imposed by FIFA. It’s been reported that Chelsea may be able to avoid losing the 30-year old for free next July, if they can reach an agreement over a new two-year deal at Stamford Bridge. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11743545/chelsea-reject-35m-bids-for-willian-from-barcelona-and-atletico-madrid
