Comp troubles - sorry
-
Lampard played like the DL PM we've been screaming for. Goal aside, shocked he's not consensus MOTM.
-
Is there a way to find out shirt sales for players?
-
He's from Valencia's academy
-
I feel like no one is holding Oscar is responsible for his performances this season. I understand foreign players are supposed to have the 1 year adjustment period, but my god he needs to be fucking dropped to the bench and played a lot less.
-
Ideally we'll see a pivot of Ramires and Lampard or something of that nature. I really get discouraged (offensively) seeing Mikel and Lampard together.
-
I was yelling at him why his run was so terrible. I could not understand why he was running in a straight line. It's shit like this, that will get fixed when we have a new striker and most people won't even notice it.
-
The link he quoted mentions Luis Suarez...
-
That's not true. Drogba said before the CL final he had already made up his mind he would not return.
-
He still hasn't showed the same ferocity earlier in the season when he was our #10. Oscar being incorporated in the 3 and not the double pivot, I believe, has hindered Eden's progress.
-
I guess you were missing the parts where Azpi was getting taken advantage of? I can stand for not liking Rafa, but to blame him and cuss for him trying to secure the win, jesus christ you're a dolt aren't you?
-
Hazard's shot it once or twice in the same exact spot he did yesterday except the keeper's gone the wrong way each time. I guess people don't remember that or it wouldn't be deemed as such a 'shocking' PK.
-
All you did was mention that he wins back possession and because of that, I am wrong. The only game where one could say he took things over was the League Cup match vs Utd, and that was only because they were allowing to have possession, trying to hold onto the lead. He may have also been playing next to Ramires as well when he started to take it over so that doesn't even count.
-
Oscar and still yet to "wow" me with his distribution and has yet to control the game, which is what Hazard and Mata do when they're in the middle. Some glorious goals he's scored - absolutely, but I believe he has hurt us more than helped us so far. Since he's forced Hazard to the wing, he hasn't replicated any of his pre-Oscar performances.
-
He said in an interview a couple of days ago he sees himself in the pivot.
-
Alex sold for about 5m pounds, Zhirkov was 13-14m pounds. So that's 18-19m pounds, plus whatever their wages were, plus Anelka's wages came off the books. That sounds like 28m to me.
-
Luiz is fucking terrible man....
-
I 100% noticed this. You can see Mata and Hazard really connecting, running over to the other 1 with the ball start a string of passes between each other to take the game over. Oscar as the #10 without Mata... hasn't been good enough for me.
-
Oscar completely disappeared in the 2nd half. He stopped meeting Ramires and Mikel to get the ball and was playing right underneath Torres's ass until the last 10 minutes when we were more on the defensive until he was subbed off. It invited the pressure on the pivot and made us lethargic.
-
How is that ridiculous? If Hazard misses his goal yesterday off the post, and Torres is there to put it back in, Mata would not get the assist. Same thing for the free kick. You're setting the free kick taker up for a goal. If someone scores on the header from the set piece, the person who won the kick did not assist him. If you win the corner for your team, you're not the last person to touch the ball. Just like the header free kick, you become the 3rd player in the process. If you're the last person to touch the ball before someone scores in the opponents half of the field, generally you're getting the assist. If you're not, no assist. I'm not sure how that's muddled or ridiculous.
-
Lampard became shit before we signed the likes of Hazard and Oscar....
-
Stream?
-
You're very right about your first statement, but they know how well they played at the defending champions. Ultimate morale boost.
-
I was scared watching them vs City. If Gervinho knew how to hit the back of the net, they would've won by 2+ goals.
-
I love how everyone's overreacting to his performance. He was going up against Bosingwa! He rarely tries to make a tackle when the attacker is trying to take him on. If he didn't play like that, something's wrong.
