Newcastle, Swansea, Liverpool and West Ham.

no he hasnt. He has started 10 games in 2015 and played well in at least 4 or 5 of them, so no he has not had a lot more bad games. not even arguable
-
As i already said he has had some good games and some bad games in 2015. So for you to say he has gone missing in 2015 is ridiculous, and if you cant see that then any further debating with you is just pointless.
-
he has had some good games and some bad games this year, the same can be said about almost every other player in the team, yet Oscar is the one who has apparentley gone missing. Complete Garbage.
-
please explain how on earth Oscar has gone missing in the 2nd half of the season??? He has started 10 games and has 3 goals and 3 assists in 2015, plus some good performances where he wasnt rewarded with a goal or assist. yeah he has really gone missing hasnt he. In fact in 2015 none of our attackers have been consistentley good so far, Ivanovic has made up for our inconsistent attackers in 2015 with some vital goals. So no Oscar hasnt gone missing at all, thats pure fantasy.
-
where has this myth come from that Oscar's 2nd half of the season has been terrible??? He started off 2015 well, with 3 goals and 3 assists in his first 5 games this year, since then he played very well against Liverpool in the League Cup, was also good aganst Villa, wasnt so good against Burnley or Man City but none of our attacking players were and played well against West Ham in the 1st half on Wednesday, not exactly bad form is it? a lot of delusional Chelsea fans who really dont have a clue regarding certain players, Oscar has had a very good season so far, he has had a few bad games, but most have been good. I dont know what more people want from him? He creates chances, scores goals, links play, presses very well, gives the team good balance, and contributes defensively. No doubt in my mind that Oscar is going to become a genuine world class footballer, and there are not many world class players around, this guy has everything to become world class, some fans on here really remind me of those West Ham fans who questioned Harry Redknapp for putting Lampard in the West Ham team all those years ago.
-
He has looked tidy on the ball, but clearly hasnt no where near settled yet, he has been keeping it very simple so far, he hasnt been running at players trying to take them on, I really wanted us to sign Felipe Anderson instead as i think he was huge potential, but i am sure once he settles Cuadrado will show his quality.
-
Pretty sure this team will start. Courtois Ivanovic - Zouma - Terry - Azpilicueta Fabregas - Matic Ramires - Oscar - Hazard Costa
-
no we dont, we go into a 4-3-3 when defending and then Cesc moves further forward when we have the ball. and after the way Ramires played today, he will probably take Willian's place in the team. We will most likely start like this against PSG Fabregas - Matic Ramires - Oscar - Hazard Costa but i am sure the same people on here will come up with more excuses as to why Oscar keeps starting games.
-
So lets just ignore the fact Oscar and Ramires started against Liverpool away. And lets just keep pretending that when Jose wants to play 4-3-3 that the reason Oscar often gets left out is clearly not because there is no room for a number 10 in a 4-3-3 formation. Some Chelsea fans lack of knowledge is bizarre
-
yes your so right the only reason he played against Man City at Home, Liverpool at Home in the coc and away in the PL, Spurs home and away, Arsenal at home and Man United away was obviously because players were not available. Probably the most ridiculous comment i have seen all day.
-
You do realize he was so happy becuase he ended his trophy drought not because he won the CoC Cup. surley you cant be that clueless. Man City at home was more important then all 3. Wow how buthurt do you sound. Please show me where i said he is the most important player of the team?
-
so how is that relevant? just because we won it doesnt mean its now such an important competition. Consistency in the PL is what is important. dont act like i picked a competition at random, i picked the most important one. and please explain how he is just not good enough to consistently make the chelsea 11 anymore??? pretty bizarre thing to say. In 2015 we have played 12 games, Oscar started 9 of those 12 games, so please stop the delusion, that Oscar is apparently not good enough to start games anymore. :clown:
-
as if they are important competitons to get stats from.
-
yes and what is wrong with using league stats? i didnt bother checking all comps, League stats is your bread and butter and tells you a lot about a players season. League games is where your team is always playing their strongest team, cup comps can be skewed as thats where teams rest players or you can come up against some really weak opposition.
-
whoscored.com actually. The most accurate and detailed. not like your fake stats
-
If you want to compare Oscar to Isco and Gotze who play a similar role to Oscar then you can see below that Oscar is more productive then both of them and contributes more defensivley, and Oscar does it in a team who has less of the ball then the other two. Oscar 6 goals 7 assists - A Goal or Assist every 128 minutes Gotze 9 goals 2 assists - A Goal or Assist every 129 minutes Isco 3 goals 8 assists - A Goal or Assist every 141 minutes So basically you prefer players who are more flasy then Oscar, even though they are not as productive? Wrong again. As you can see below Oscar is clearly not 'lighht years' behind Fabregas Cesc 2 Goals 15 Assists - A Goal or Assist every 115 Minutes Oscar 6 Goals 7 Assists - A Goal or Assist every 127 Minutes
-
who on earth said Mourinho doesnt trust him in big games??? he started against Man City at Home, Liverpool at Home in the coc and away in the pL, Spurs home and away and Man United away. so please explain how Mourinho doesnt trust him in big games? Fact is in the games where Mourinho wants to play 4-3-3 of course the number 10 would get dropped for an extra Midfielder, usually Ramires or Mikel. So i have no idea where you think Jose doesnt trust him from.
-
More stats? Oscar is in the top 10 of the most productive players in the PL. 1. Aguero 17+6 - A Goal or Assist every 67 Minutes 2. Costa 17+2 - A Goal or Assist every 89 Minutes 3. Sanchez 12+7 - A Goal or Assist every 105 Minutes 4. Fabregas 2+15 - A Goal or Assist every 115 Minutes = Kane 14+3 - A Goal or Assist every 89 Minutes 5. Austin 14+2 - A Goal or Assist every 124 Minutes 6. Hazard 9+6 - A Goal or Assist every 153 Minutes 7. Oscar 6+7 - A Goal or Assist every 127 Minutes = Cazorla 7+6 - A Goal or Assist every 162 Minutes For someone to be producing a goal or assist every 127 minutes, while also always contributing so much defensively is excellent, the criticism he gets from some Chelsea fans is bizarre.
-
Courtois Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Luis Fabregas - Zouma Cuadrado - Oscar - Hazard Costa West Ham will obviously play like Real Madrid but i still think we will have too much for them. 2-0 Chelsea
-
his natural game at CB yes, but we are talking about at DM, he will know he can take more chances at DM as he will have cover behind him.
-
I know Cahill isnt aggressive, but he needs to be and i believe with him knowing he has Zouma and Terry playing behind him he will be more aggressive. and yes any player can block a shot but not many can do it consistently like Cahill does
-
I like the thought of Cahill at DM, as long as he is agressive in there and doesnt back off, he is pretty mobile for a big guy, he will put himself about and is good at blocking shots, and Spuds have quite a few players like Kane, Eriksen, Mason and Bentaleb who like shooting from distance, but i feel he needs Cesc to be close to him as Cahill isnt a great passer so he needs players like Cesc near him to play those simple passes into them.
-
why on earth would anyone want Mata back??? he simply isnt good enough! bang average player who had a few good seasons in a weak Chelsea team that was built around him, if he came back he would be like Salah and warm the bench! the guy is not a Mourinho player, our players have more fight in their little fingers then Mata does in his whole body, he should go and play for someone like Spuds, Southampton or Everton a team that is willing to build their team around him.
