since when did pushing someone become a red card offense???
-
I just cant get my head around it to be honest i have been watching football for nearly 20 years, since when has pushing someone become a red card offense??? you see it all the time in football, players square up and push each other, we saw it today in the Spuds match also, players never get red cards just for pushing someone, what am i missing from this? surely the red card will get recinded.
-
Vertonghen just pushed Noble in the face and doesnt even get a yellow, and Matic gets a straight red for pushing Barnes in the back, am i missing something here?
-
I am usually always confident especially against Spurs but i think our overall performances in 2015 other then Swansea away has been dreadful, and now we will be without Matic, i am really not confident about this one at all.

someone would have clearly stepped up! im not saying the same player every game but different players would have stepped up, as they always have! Arsenal always have injuries but still do well against the smaller teams. So if its too much for you to understand that Arsenal wouldnt be a mid table team without Sanchez as almost all his goals have come against the smaller teams who Arsenal always beat anyway, then i dont know what more to say. -

no its not really hypothetical as Arsenal historically do well against the smaller teams. -

yes but the point is Arsenal do well against the smaller teams anyway, which is why its a myth that arsenal would be mid table if it wasnt for Sanchez -

no i am saying other players would have stepped up and won those games for Arsenal against the samller teams like they usually do, not someone else getting those numbers. -

One of the biggest myths of the season that Sanchez has carried Arsenal. He only plays well against the smaller teams who Arsenal always do well against anyway! don't be fooled. -

its bizarre that you actually believe Arsenal would mid table without Sanchez! dont be ridiculous, they would obviously still be where they are now, if they never had Sanchez someone else would step up, and if your talking stats, what are Sanchez's stats against the top teams? and you do realize playing with a group of players who dont get many goals or assists its easier to have better stats, if Hazard was in that Arsenal team instead of Sanchez he would be the same, but Hazard still has very good numbers in a team where Costa, Fabregas and Oscar all get their fair share of goals and assists. Look at Hazard last season he carried Chelsea in attack and performed in big games unlike Sanchez. Its bizarre that you think someone who performs against the smaller teams and goes missing in big games can be POTY, when in reality Arsenal always do well against the smaller teams with or without Sanchez, so to say he has carried them is pretty ridiculous. -

whoever plays the best in the title run in, out of Hazard, Fabregas and Costa will obviously get it, no one else has any chance. -

LOL. and Sanchez is on course of being part of the first Arsenal team to not qualify for the Champions League! and he goes missing in big games! -
great result, that typical Chelsea fighting spirit was on show again! if we ever lose this fighting spirit that Jose installed into our club in 2004 it will be a very very sad day for me! and its sad when people moan about these types of performances away from home without a fully fit squad aganist a good team and getting a good result, but people want us to play like Barcelona in these types of games, oh wait how did Barca get on in Paris again, please someone remind me???

Chelsea are 5-1 wiith Betvictor

Pretty sure this team will start Courtois Ivanovic - Zouma - Terry - Azpilicueta Ramires - Matic Fabregas Willian - Costa - Hazard

He really isnt anything special at all, his movement is average if you compare it with guys like Costa, Higuain, Bacca and Tevez all who have excellent movement, his hold up play and link up play also isnt great, no where near as good as players like Lewnadowski, Costa, Ibrahimovic and Benzema, his all round game is pretty average, he is just going through a good run of form, something we have seen many many times from players in the PL. Remy is a better striker then Kane as is Demba Ba, if you want to believe the hype then its up to you, but watchng him play he really doesnt look like someone who is ever going to be world class.
-
he is nothing more then a flash in a pan player, once defenders work him out and he goes through a run of games without scoring the hype train will stop and he will probably have a career as an average PL striker never good enough to play for a top club.
-
exactly, coutinho is just a flashy player but in reality isnt even close to Oscar.
-
23 is still young, and his inconsistencies come from being fatigued. As for his improvments, its sad that you need them to be listed, He has improved his finishing, his creativity, he has improved his pressing game, his freekicks, his intelligence and tactial awareness is through the roof for someone so young also. He is a seriously exceptional talent, and its laughable how not being in form means your not good enough to some on here. as you can see his contribution to the team is undeniable, its frankly embarrasng to critisize a player just for having some bad games even though the player has contributed massively to the team doing so well this season.
-
he hasnt been at his best recently but form is temporary, and i think he has improved a lot over the last 3 seasons, he is just a bit inconsistent, which is normal for any young player
-
no Oscar creates more then Willian that is a fact. and Oscar isnt even a direct player and still creates alot more then Willian
-
Wow can't believe some of the comments on here, just because Oscar doesn't play like a traditional number 10, people think he isn't good enough! Most number 10's are very direct whenever they get the ball they look to play it through to the striker, Oscar is different, he gives us balance and tends to play safer passes rather then the riskier through balls, that's fine when you have someone like Fabregas in the team, Oscar is someone who keeps the ball moving and is happy to play the simple pass to people like Hazard and Fabregas so they can do their thing, usually your CM would do that job, for us its our number 10, there is nothing wrong with that, as he is also a goal threat and excellent at pressing teams high up the pitch. As he matures he will probably become more direct and play the riskier passes more often, but right now I like the balance our front players have, Oscar and Fabregas compliment eachother very well, if we had Mata in the number 10 role both Mata and Fabregas would just be playing through ball after through ball, Costa would probably love that but we would become predictable and players like Hazard and Willian would probably rather have Oscar in the number 10 role as he would play the simpler passes to them and create space for them to run at defenders, to be a great team you need balance and Matic and Oscar are the 2 players who really give our team perfect balance.
