  1. I rarely hear anyone mention that game, People would rather talk about how he destroyed Swansea, or his beautifual assist against Man United and oh yes his goal of the season against Qpr.
  2. Delph was scared he would end up like Sinclair and Rodwell at City
  3. yes we came close in 13/14 because of how we defended, whether it was playing defensive against the top teams and playing on the counter, or defending a lead, our defence was the key. Rooney scored 4 goals in 14 games as a striker, and he isnt getting any better. and what are you talkiing about 'quoting redcafe'???
  4. I agree, if Man U sign a world class striker then they would become a serious threat.
  5. dont have any idea how you came to that conclusion
  6. bossing our midfield? we dropped off and allowed them possesion.
  7. you do know we parked the bus at SB and allowed Man U to have all the possession, that is not controlling a game LOL. and as for Rooney he is better suited to playing deeper, but as a striker he is much less of threat, only 4 of his goals last season came from playing as a striker. and to compare Man U with us in 13/14 is laughable, we came close that year solely down to playing defensive football, Man U wont play the same so that comparison makes no sense
  8. Mata linking up play with Schweinsteiger? I gaurantee all you will see is either Schweinsteiger playing a diagonal out to the fullback making a run, or him giving it to Mata who will then play his usual long ball to Felaini.
  9. I have never seen Herrera control a game, Mata hasnt come anywhere near his form with us and it doesnt look like he ever will, and Rooney is not a striiker that will score you 20 goals a season anymore, he simply isnt a big threat anymore and isnt the type of striker that will win you the league. all those players Mata, Herrera and Rooney like the ball into their feet rather then played over the top to run onto, now they have Schweinsteiger they wll no doubt be very good at keeping possesion but that is about it, unless they sign a world class striker, they will struggle to break teams down with the players they have.
  10. none of them are big threats, Mata is a shadow of his former self, Herrera can not control a game, and its not 2010 anymore, Rooney is as good as finished.
  11. Cesc??? Bastian was never the only weapon for Bayern and Germany, at Man U they will try to make him like Scholes and control games, i cant see that working out to well for him or Man United.
  12. he isnt similar to any of them, once teams work out they need to put a player on him and not give him time on the ball, i can see him struggling, especially when he has slow players like Rooney and Mata making runs in front of him.
  13. he would be a huge upgrade on Schweinsteiger
  14. doubt it, if he is happy to be 5th/6th choice then maybe but it will be best for him to leave
  15. people said the same about Deco. I cant see Schweinsteiger handling the pace and physicality of the PL very well.
  16. that sounds more promising at least.
  17. as much as i would like us to sign him, i feel Jose has a lot of faith in Ramires and will be happy to go into next season with Fabregas - Matic with Ramires and RLC as 3rd and 4th choice, so i am starting to think we wont even sign a CM this window.
  18. people have read it and not many agree with it.
  19. Chelsea must have something up their sleeve, Vidal? Nainggolan? Schneiderlin? Aranguiz?
  20. doubt Schweinsteiger will do well in the PL at this stage of his career, similar to how Deco struggled.
  21. yet again talking about minutes but not acknowledging 4 straight seasons without a pre-season, during which time he has moved team and country. Oscar has played around 20,000 minutes in his first 6 years as a pro, compare that Messi who played around 15,000 minutes in his frst 6 years as a pro, and then factor in Oscar's lack of pre-season and you can see what Mourinho was talking about and the Neymar comparison isnt very good as Neymar also suffered from inconsistency in the 2013/14 season, and if you watched him last season you would see his performances were far from impressive, yes he scored many goals but how many were put on a plate for him and how many did he make himself?
  22. i dont think there is any chance of us selling Cuadrado in this window, the guy will want to stay especially now that Falcao is coming, and Jose will want to at least give him a chance to show what he can do, as we spent just under £30 Million for him. imo our AMs are more then good enough to not only dominate the PL again but also to be successful in europe, Hazard, Willian and Oscar are all at a good age and should all improve again next season. spending that money on Reus makes no sense at all if no one leaves.
  23. how? so you want us to sign Reus which will mean Willian or Oscar get benched and the £27 Million Cuadrado drops further down the pecking order, and once again doesnt get a chance to play, Cuadrado is a good player and Mourinho will give him a chance next season, which makes signing Reus out of the question, its simply not an area of the team that needs to be strengthened. Hazard is untouchable, Mourinho has already said he expects big things from Oscar, Willian has settled and adapted to the PL now and finished the season of brilliantly, Cuadrado is then next in line, someone we spent a large fee on, and havent given a chance yet, Reus simply doesnt fiit into our team. Only way it would make sense would be if we sell Cuadrado. As i said this isnt Fifa
  24. were you someone wanting us to spend 50 million euros on Reus, even though we dont need him?
  25. just thought i would get in there ahead of the people like yourself, who will come in and start talking about players like Benzema and Cavani like they are playing Fifa.
