  1. I don't think Roberto Martinez is stupid enough to start Eto'o in front of Lukaku. In fact, I think Lukaku will enjoy having Eto'o around. He'll be able to learn a lot from him. Well, that is if the big man is willing to listen
  2. I think he'll be fine... Angel's style of play is useful anywhere in world football. He not very dependent like Ozil. He can produce magic on his own. And up against the Andy Wilkinson's of the world, I reckon he'll enjoy every minute
  3. We should be expecting him anytime now then...
  4. OMFG!!! I'D CRY TEARS OF JOY TILL EVERY OUNCE OF FLUID IN MY BODY RAN OUT Sadly..... it's highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, UNLIKELY
  5. GUYS.... I don't know whats going on with my body. In the past 48 hours, I've only slept for 4 hours. Either I'm just SUPER excited for the game or someone has spiked a beverage of mine with ecstasy or some shit! :o
  6. He's just a joy to watch Beautiful flicks and dribbling... ala Iniesta https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMUEX9qK_rU
  7. Enjoyed watching him tonight because he played with a lot of a freedom. He was all over the park, picked up the ball on the left, right and down the middle. Only shame was he didn't look like he was gonna score... Not that he needed to! (oh yeah and the rabona he failed haha )
  8. I feel like we are forgetting how good Hazard was last season (because of the new signings). He was absolutely immense last season and I really hope he can push on from a terrific campaign last time out
  9. He has been! Oscar is still a better player imo. Yes he didn't impress during pre-season but at least we know what heights he can reach... I mean we can't really do that with Willian because he has been - as you said- average. Dont get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Willian's style. I hate how he doesn't show any cutting edge and doesn't take any risks but I just love how he has a swag about the way he plays. His dribbling and the little body swivel he does are just beautiful. His performance against Stoke at home in the league this season was as impressive as he has been this season. If he can produce that kind of performance regularly this season, then I wouldn't mind him starting over an under performing Oscar.
  10. Why are people all of a sudden favouring him over Oscar?? I'm confused...
  11. So much excitement, its unbearable! So many questions that will begin to be answered on Monday: Will Chelsea be the real deal this season? Will Diego Costa be the solution to our long term striking problems? Will Eden Hazard continue to be Chelsea's spark? Will this be the season where he truly becomes one of the very best in the world? (Up there with Messi, Cristiano etc.) Will Cesc Fabregas be the player to make Chelsea an incisive and threatening force in the final 3rd? 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1? Who will be Chelsea's #1? We know that Hazard will be one of the 3 behind Costa. But who will the other 2 be? Will Didier Drogba be the same Drogba that was the most feared striker in the Premier League? Will Filipe Luis give Hazard the sort of freedom and support that he so desperately craved last season? Will Ivanovic learn how to cross? Will Ramires continue to be get himself into trouble for stupid sh*t? How many open goals will Torres miss? Ahhh... I miss the Premier League
  12. Sounds identical to our first home game last season (Hull in the league). We were awesome in that game. But then as the season went on, we kinda just plateau'd in terms of firey and purposeful starts Hope that doesn't happen this term
  13. Guilty Mr. Whiskey, I am high as a kite right now
  14. Why do I have a feeling Torres might just score...
  15. Man... FUCK! Missing the game cuz of fucking work. Ill be able to quickly check TC every now and again so I'd appreciate it very much if someone posted gifs (regularly) and all in all kept me up to date with the game
  16. What language were they speaking ?? Hmmm
  17. Not too surprised he was top quality when he came on today. I've noticed this many times before. Whenever Eden comes off the bench to play the last 30 mins or so, he generally plays well and is a joy to watch because he plays with freedom and just takes on whoever is in his way. I think this is because he doesn't need to worry about preserving energy for the rest of the game or for the games to come. He just goes out there and has fun. Sparta at home comes to mind
  18. He hates Tottenham He hates Tottenham He hates Tottenham and he hates Tottenham The shits from Spurs They bought his flight But Will.i.am He saw the light He got the call from Abramovich And off he went to Stamford Bridge!! Welcome Back Willian! (donno why I just got super psyched when I saw him come out of the tunnel)
  19. I know this might sound a bit cuntish, but imagine he was out for a few weeks (maybe even a month) back in 2012/13 under Di Matteo when we only had him and Sturridge available as strikers. What if Sturridge showed the form he's been showing at Liverpool...
  20. Mate, that's typical Diego. He'll pick a fight with anyone, anytime, anywhere. He's beyond a badass, he's borderline mental But yeah, it's a great trait for a striker to have.
  21. Marco Reus. Just refused to sign a new contract that Dortmund offered him so they can bump up the amount of his current release clause of £27 million (which becomes active next season). So a cheeky bid of £35 million would probably be enough. Besides, with Ribery ageing now, I'm 100% sure Bayern will be interested come next season when they can buy him on his release clause. And Bayern are the last team Dortmund would want to sell to.
  22. Loving the pace of this game tbh
  23. Diego Costa looks scary whenever he's running towards goal
