Scholes, has been an emmence player and one of the best passers of the ball that i have seen, especially long range. His passing is better than lamps, but as a complete player i would have to go with lamps for everything he offers. On topic: Mata didn't show much when he came on, but you can't rely on him to save our asses every single time.

Yeah i miss the days when after the game everyone would talk about how our AM was very good creating chances and it was just our defence that was conceding as we scored a lot and conceded as well. Now we just look dodgy in attack and defence. In fairness we showed for 60 mins some quality against West brom that we hadn't shown in a while, and hopefully we will see that again very soon and this was just a blip... Unlikely though.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don't... Not that RDM was a devil. I just can't believe we sacked him for rafa fucking benitez.... Remember when we outclassed tottenham and had a 4 point gap at the top of the table, even with 1 striker in torres. Hazard bagging all those assists and goals coming from ivan, mata, lamps, etc. Those were good times.

Lukaku would fight for the team and will just go for it. I would rather put my faith in him than making a silly purchase like mario gomez. If it was someone like cavani, lewy etc then ok, but if we dismiss lukaku for someone like gomez then we are seriously crazy. Why not try and give him a chance. We are 4th this season and spent most of it with one of the worst strikers in the EPL. Why not take a chance on Romelu. -

So if he was being swarmed, why wasn't oscar, benayoun and mata when they came on in acres of space. No one played well, not just lampard.

To clarify, i am in no way saying Hazard has been bad this season. He is a great player and i am glad we have got him, i am just using him as an example of one of several players who had a game as bad as lampard today. Again, i am not saying no one is allowed to slate lampard. But its the fact he is getting singled out as being bad, as in he is the one responsible for all the long balls and he has been the reason for our poor performances. As for lampard being the centre of discussion that is true. But then you could say that people are allowed to talk about him when he is playing well because he gets slated when he doesn't (you can put it either way round).

We just need to fight and scrape through to get over the line. If we can do that, next season should be much different, with a new man at the helm, no more fernando, and recalling some real talent, and reinforcing in some much needed positions. -
Chelsea homers... No idea what the fuck that is lol. Where has anyone said he should be our starting midfielder next season. Wern't you the bloke who said that lampard hasn't been a great midfielder when talking about his entire career???

And that makes him easier to critiscise? Hazard has gone missing in games this season. And lampard has also had several good games. I don't see why his performance is worse because he is coming towards the end of his contract.
