Whilst i don't agree with the "bertrand is shit and should be gone" mentality. That game he was playing as an advanced left back so it was basically cole and bertrand as joint left backs. He still has a lot to prove and hasn't done much to prove his quality yet. Still a lot to learn from A.Cole.

We won it fair and square. We had our luck, but then we also had great performances along the way. I don't blame them for not wanting to play for that twat of a manager, but they should ignore him and just play for us and the fans who travelled out there to see them, and that performance... Another reason why the whole team will get a lift when he is gone. I.e. if we had RDM, jose, gus poyet, anyone like that, the team would most likely have put a lot more effort in.

We should have left them all at home and played our youngsters. Why was ake not playing. He would have given more in midfield than pretty much everyone combined in there. We should sack rafa immediately, and tell torres he is gonna play with malouda in the reserves. Recall Lukaku, and then actually have a decent striker for every game, as torres is beyond useless and if rafa starts him over BA then the world is doomed through stupidity.

You can't just blame JT because the attack was beyond crap... He organised the defence (the best he could with luiz running of) and defended well which is his primary job. He should have tried harder to motivate the team but there isn't a captain on the earth that could have motivated that team. Its clear that they either don't give a shit about the europa or don't want to play for rafa.

His defending was sublime. Lamps put in a good pass. And Torres played it safe and cleared it... Didn't want to risk missing.

Well there's shit and then there was that... A whole different level. Not one player had a good game... Lampard was bad, oscar was bad, Hazard had his worst game in a Chelsea shirt. Benayoun was crap. Mikel was ok. Defence were ok except Bertrand and Luiz who forgot which position he was playing in... so terrible game and the players looked quite uninterested. JT is probably the motm as he had his man covered the whole game but he didn't do anything special. Still think we will go though but that performance was something else.
