It makes no sense to have all of the same vareity of players. Just behind that would be players like Wilshere who are more technicallly gifted. Arsenal are quite one dimesional and another option up there would be useful for them. Used effectively it could be a great big man/quick man combo with Men running off of him, and fellaini's hold up play.

imo, Fellaini's best position is just behind the striker, and arsenal lack some physicality there. So Fellaini behind someone like walcott who will run off him will be quite effective. Could be wrong, but i don't see him in DM.

Even if arsenal did buy fellini. I highly doubt it is to play in midfield.

Tbf i think that a squad buy is to do that role. I think he will get quite a few games atm, because if we look at it closely if we assume Hazard has the left wing spot on Lock, then we have Moses, Marin and Oscar to play Wide right. Schurrle is definitely better than the first 2, and i'm hoping we buy a proper DM and integrate oscar into a more central position just behind mata. So i see him as very much as a fringe player. In the top 15 players who will play the most over the course of the season. On the Di Maria front, very few will now the exact details.
