It's become very clear we are just a couple jigsaw pieces away from becoming a really good team, and until that happens it's just a case of waiting and enjoying the good moments, being patient with the bad. I'd start to get a bit more annoyed if this doesn't happen near the end of the season, but for now all things considered we are not in too bad shape.

He still has my 100% support along with the rest of the players. You either get behind them and enjoy football for what it is or mope and whine all season, which is all that's happened so far on this forum.

Cabaye could work, it would be interesting to see him playing at somewhere like Chelsea where a lot of creative players are in front of him. Would give better distribution than Mikel but we might lose some stability

Yeah he made a couple selection errors but so what? We won 3-1, in good style imo. You have to adapt to your opponent and Jose could see what needed to happen to win the game. And people give our opponent no credit whatsoever, Pochettino and Southampton had one of the best defensive records going into the game and are playing superbly at the moment. I really can't see why anyone would want this game to turn out any differently. Maybe the Essien backpass is still on everyone's mind I don't know.

Wake up Jose? He changed the game completely to win it for us. You have to adapt to the team in front of you and Jose does that well. Yeah its not all roses in some games but give the man some credit where it's due mate

We played much better when he went off, weirdly. He was playing ok before then too.

It was a great game to watch honestly. We played really well in the 2nd half. And Essien looked good to me apart from the backpass. I'm happy he started, he is loyal and will always put in a good shift when he is called upon. He was working very hard in that first half.

I'm optimistic. I reckon we can get 12 points from 12 from our next 4 fixtures. That puts us in great condition to heat up the title challenge when we face Arsenal at Christmas.

Champions league is a tournament, it's about doing what's necessary to progress further. If this was a last 16 group tie, then yeah sure, moan and moan. But the fact is we have qualified and the league looks solid currently (4 points off aint bad in my book). And being Chelsea, we should never give up hope because we can achieve anything.

Is it a bad thing that Chelsea haven't contacted him? Its only been a couple months. He cost the club 18 million I can assure you people are keeping a close eye on him.

If we sell Luiz we will have a very light defense. What's the point in selling him if we would need to bring someone else in.

Jose wouldn't endorse any player so soon, it bumps the player's price up if he does.
