  1. You were clearly insinuating it. You mentioned Azpi and Kante being commited and both appreciating playing for us. You didn't mention Hazard even though Thor was talking about all three.
  2. Yeah sure buddy. Plenty of players have confessed their undying love for their club only to leave a year later. Players will choose whatever they feel is best for their career. Kante is no different.
  3. How exactly has Hazard not been committed to the cause ? Stayed with us for 6 years. Lead us to 2 PL titles and played with an injury for nearly half a season. How has he been ungrateful ? Because he isn't blowing smoke up Chelsea fans arses when asked whether he'll stay or not ? Pff give me a break. Almost all players will do what's best for themselves. Kante can say "Chelsea is my home" as many times as he likes but you can bet at the end of the season he'll be looking at his options aswell. I'll be genuinely suprised if Kante stays here for 6 seasons.
  4. before january 1 : 8 goals 5 asists after january 1 : 7 goals 3 assists.
  5. Just pointless discussing things with you. Jumpy ? I simply get irritated when people say stupid things but enough, i'm done, wasted enough time.
  6. 7 goals in 19 games certainly isn't good enough for someone that's supposed to be amongst the best. Either follow the conversation properly or stfu. I said he's been poor in march (4 weeks) onemosalah said he's been poor since january so i then brought up his stats clearly showing he has been performing in january and february. He still scored more goals then any other Chelsea player in 2018. Even Willian in the form of his life didn't score as much.
  7. 4 goals 1 assist in january (7 games). 3 goals 2 assists in february (4 games). 7 goals and 3 assists in 2018.
  8. Madness ? 15 goals and 8 assists. Leading goalscorer, in all competitions, for us this season. He's been off form these last 4 weeks but that doesn't mean we should forget what he's done before that.
  9. Studs full on the inner ankle... no foul lmao English refs
  10. Both our wingbacks are just too average. 1 has a good foundation and goalscoring threat but lacks the pace to profit from it while the other one has pace but lacks the basics (primarily decision making).
  11. Memories a bit fuzzy but i do remember there was a lot do to about it when "Lionsden" was banned.
  12. ??? Not saying that was the only reason for our poor form. There were multiple reasons Mourinho imploding was a big one but having Hazard in form would helped. Just look at the effect he had when he came back in form at the end of that season.
  13. Wasn't there also an incident a while back where an administrator (or a mod) banned a long term member for being "too controversial" which several moderators disagreed with and ended up quiting as a moderator ? I think Choulo was one of them. Probably didn't help either.
  14. Think you're nitpicking. Can't speak for the person that wrote the message but i just think he meant that Hazard not being in form that season had a significant effect on the team. Even if Hazard isn't in top form he still has a positive effect on the team that would be missed if he wasn't here anymore. and i agree with what he said that some people are underrating his importance to us. The thing that worries me is that we've been slipping further and further down over the years. Yes we've won the title twice in the last 4 years but it just feels like we've taken 1 step forward only to go 2 steps back. Now this season even with Hazard we're struggling to make top four. The quality of the squad is just so poor. You talk about a few lean years i worry that this could be the start of a lean decade. Both Manchester clubs will keep spending big so winning the title will be near impossible. Unless Abramovich starts spending again i just don't see how we're gonna compete again.
  15. Saw this on another forum, pretty spot on imo. "You won't be saying that if he leaves and we struggle to compete at all. Without him, we aren't getting close to that top 4. The one season he was off form for us, we finished 10th. I think a lot of people are undervaluing his importance to us right now. This isn't like a few years ago where we could afford to lose one of our top players. If Hazard goes, we are in trouble, i don't trust our board to find a good enough replacement. Even if they did identify a good enough replacement, i don't have faith in them getting that player to actually sign for us. I find it baffling when people say things like "i won't care much if we sell Hazard", why would you not care? What do we get out of it if he leaves? All we end up with is a weaker squad and an almost toothless attack. I only ever hear people say they are okay with Hazard leaving when he doesn't turn up for the big games to get us a win (even though he has turned up for a lot of our biggest games since he arrived, especially in the league) Instead of pointing the finger at Hazard and demanding he step up and produce the goods, how about pointing the finger at the others, the ones that have rarely produced the goods in the big games? Or how about the board, the ones that have failed to get players that are capable of playing at the highest level with the likes of Hazard? (although it can be argued that they did, but we went and sold them all) Out of all of the players we have had since the Roman era began, which ones have contributed more to our attack than Hazard? Drogba and Lampard, that's it. If Hazard was playing in the 2004-2010 Chelsea team, there would never be any complaints about him. Back then, we had other players that would stand out if one player wasn't producing the goods. If it wasn't Drogba, it was Lampard, if it wasn't Lampard, it was Terry, if it wasn't Terry it was, Gudjohnsen, Essien, Carvalho, Cole, Robben, Ivanovic. These days, if it isn't Hazard producing the goods in the big games, who else do we have that we can fall back on..........Willian on a good day maybe? that's about it. Back in 2004-2010, you would never hear about one player carrying the team, these days though, Hazard has carried this team more often than should ever be asked of a player. Hazard stands out more because he's the only player in our squad that is expected to shine, in the past, when one of the other top players didn't step up, you could always count on another top player to step up in their place. If people don't think Hazard is a big game player, then maybe they should look up some videos of his goals, you will soon be reminded that he has scored a lot of important goals for us, more than anybody else since Drogba."
  16. Why the fuck are Barcelona players talking with the referee in the tunnel?!
  17. While i agree he needs to stop with the flicks. It's bs that he was invisible. He was good in the beginning made several good runs. His performance did drop after the second goal.
  18. Yeah i know mate. Do wish he was a bit more selfish in situations like that.
  19. Tbf, we scored on the first occasion and Giroud should have always scored the second time.
  20. Yeah since i made the comparison between Hazard-Neymar and pointed out that Neymar was extremely wasteful Robguima seems to have gone into overdrive, bashing Hazard every chance he gets. Probably hit a bit of a nerve with that considering Robguima's Brazilian.
  21. Tbf i think it must be demoralizing to play the way we did. I think it's difficult to put a lot of intensity in a performance when you're pretty much asked to sit deep and don't concede space. The example you gave of Fabregas walking towards the ball. Even if Fabregas had full on sprinted towards the ball would it have made a difference ? Silva would have just had to pass it back a little quicker but then what ? We weren't gonna push up and press them. City weren't gonna lose the ball because of that. What's the point of pressing a player if there's no follow up ?
  22. The players followed Conte's instructions. Watch his press conference after the game. He gets specifically asked if the players followed his instructions and he confirmed it. He also then talks about not conceding space between the lines. Us sitting deep and standing off City was a clear instruction from Conte. Coward tactics.
