Some of the bullshit I read about him is beyond ridiculous. I actually saw a poster say earlier that he is "fat". One of the most stupidest comments I have seen. The guy is clearly a physical athlete. Another claiming, Conte does not want Lukaku. LOL After what Conte done here, I am quite sure he will have control over majority of transfers if not all. Same way Luiz, Alonso was not his buy right and panic buy? Ok, OK. I mean he has his flaws and can be frustrating but like really, look at the positives. The guy is 24 goals and has done more at his age than most of the top strikers around have not done when they were of the same age. Just look at where Costa was when he was 24 and where Lukaku is. Also this 'big game' theory is such a cop out. He scores against big teams but has his games where he is poor. Like Skipper said, Everton this season, away from home have been really defensive and it would be hard for any striker to draw out chances with the way they have set up. Kane has only one goal in open play against the 'big teams' this season IIRC. Does that not make him a top striker? It is just a overused criticism to have at a player people don't like. Judge him in his 'big games' record when he plays for a big team because I am sure in few years time, you will look at his record against top teams and his CV will look impressive. Anyway, every season, he has scored goals against top teams. Just a cop out, like I said. Anyway, it seems United have had a bid rejected for Morata and will turn attention towards Belotti if that fails which basically confirms Lukaku is on his way to us surely? People need to start getting behind him and appreciate a player who actually has a huge desire to play here and won't have theatrics around him every season. he is a big fan from a young age and wants to be here. Hope like Luiz, people are forced to eat humble pie by the end of the season and admit they were proved wrong. He has pace, power, scores goals with his left, right and head. Ultimately a very complete striker bar few technical deficiencies, he will score goals like his records show. Also as well as being a short term investment, this is a long term investment as he still as years at the top level. People will soon appreciate that one of our rivals don't have him and we do.

All depends really. Hazard hopefully will come back to London and be treated by the CFC staff who are some of the best around. 6-8 weeks is what Sky Sports HQ are reporting. Hopefully he gets the best treatment possible and maybe can be available for start of the season. Really gutting and has put a damp on the weekend however that would be best scenario and maybe is able to take part in community shield game against Arsenal so he builds up match sharpness before opening day of PL. Fingers crossed. Can only hope for best outcome.

They are banned from signing U18 players. Not first team players.

Where did you hear that from?

Contrary to what people thought, seems Bakayoko is very underrated in terms of using the ball. The video posted on his thread opened my eyes to how similar he is to Yaya Toure when running with the ball.

My only worry about him joining Newcastle is that he will be used as rotation rather than a guaranteed starter. Benitez is known for his rotation for years. He has Gayle, Mitrovic, Perez who all will share game time. Gayle is there no.1 striker and while he can be used with Abraham, I am not sure how often Benitez will play two pure no.9 together in games. Anyway, like article says, he will have been assured about the game time he gets. Just alarmed because Benitez will rotate. Whereas if he went Brighton, I think he would walk into the team. However he prob sees Newcastle as having more ambition and me myself, seen Newcastle being able to create more chances than Brighton next season as they have that extra pulling power to attract more stop stars.

He really impressed me against Tottenham and Man City but was rather average against Juventus but trust Conte with any signings he makes after the success of his signings in his first season with us. I know Youtube can deceive people into a perception of players but judging by this clip here, he looks a lot better on the ball than I thought and almost has that Yaya Toure style about him when he is on the ball and running at an opponent. A big presence and looks really athletic as well which hopefully will not leave us vulnerable in terms of losing possession cheaply and still is only 22 and improving.
-
He was actually 18 in his season on loan at Vitesse. Just turned 18. So yeah not as bad as making people out but you still think with how highly rated he was, he would have set the league alight a bit more.
-
I don't buy that. I accept he may have religious commitments however he is representing Chelsea FC on the day and that is all that matters for me. Xhaka was probably in the same criteria regarding fasting and he was fantastic. He has been brilliant this season but in terms of games away from the Bridge against big teams, bar Liverpool, he has failed to impose himself against more technical players and he ends up chasing shadows. We need to improve in that area next season and gain more control next season otherwise there will be similar games to this.
-
That is my worry too. We get outplayed all over the pitch because their technical dominance is greater than ours and sometimes it is actually scary. City, when we lost 3-1 we were outplayed all over the pitch at times as well but luck went on our side. I get he has had great season but their are big games, especially away from home where he looks out of hid depth because the lack of technical qualities compared to other players. I am not underestimating what he brings to the pitch as winning the ball back but there are games where if we continue to be outplayed like this, we are going to really be put to the sword. We need a player who can shield the ball, pass, have vision of whole pitch. A player similar to Verratti or Nainngolan although both seem it will be difficult to obtain, especially Verratti. This has happened in way too many big games as well which does worry me.
-
For a final I expected more from him. On the ball and off the ball. He rarely imposed himself on the game yesterday and was at fault for second goal. Like I said, he has been brilliant but when you win two football of the year awards, you want to see more dominance on the pitch. Same applies to Matic but he has got enough criticism as it is and Kante was almost as bad as him yesterday. My simple point really is that we need more technical qualities in the CM. Because we don't have that, we get outplayed in a lot of big games like this.
-
With him being PFA Player of year and so on or whatever the two awards he won, he has set himself a standard. Expect more from him. I don't want him to be known as a player who simply chases down and wins tackles because as yesterday shown, on big occasions we need more from our individual players on the ball. He did not impose himself yesterday at all. The performance I saw from Xhaka yesterday is the performance I want to see from our CM. Kante has been brilliant but still think he is sometimes treated as God. He has had games like this where you expect more from him. Yesterday was not the first but anytime our midfield gets ran through, Matic seems to get all the stick and it's not fair because Kante is as culpable and with the levels Kante has set, you would expect him to be more of a figure on the pitch.
-
Xhaka has been mixed this season but you can see today why he is going to develop into a top DLP. Shields the ball well, has vision and his very young. Kante and Matic just don't have the skillset. I am not just going to scapegoat Matic too. Kante was at fault for the second goal and also does not possess these attributes as well and despite all the rave reviews he gets, he can be a liability. For someone who has been named PFA player of the year and so on, you would expect him to take command a bit more. I don't just simply want a player who tracks people down and wins the ball back. I want more than that. These are the type of games why I never get complacent before games like some fans do expecting a stroll in the park. We were below par today though. That red card came at the worse time because I think we would have got back in with all the chances they were wasting. Shame we missed out on double but still a brilliant season where we won the league. Hopefully this keeps Wenger in the job.

He has always been very strong with his left foot. Can't believe his goal against Hull was not mentioned in our 3-2 win over them at the KC stadium couple seasons ago. Hope someone can post the goal on here but that was a fantastic goal and would defo be in the top three for me. His second strike against Everton in our 5-0 room over them was a brilliant goal too with his weaker foot. But in terms of top three, it would be Stoke, then Hull then Sparta Prague.
-
He has been their best player along with De Ligt. Makes odd rash decision but can hold his head up high. Is a beast, fast like hell and very good ball playing defender. BT Sport commentators giving him rave reviews too. Big fan of his. Only 20 years of age too.

After the final next week, we need to go all out for Sanchez. Arsenal finished outside top 4. We will have a lot of money available from the Oscar and Costa(?) sales plus prize money for winning league. I really like Pedro and Willian but Sanchez is on Hazard's level and if we want to compete with very best, sometimes you have to go out and get the very best. His stats this season are bloody amazing. Goals and assists and rarely gets injured as well. I would bid up to £70m if I had the choice. Don't get much world class players available and if we put in a mammoth bid, they may have no choice.
-
The last few games including today has probably done him enough to earn his place in the squad next season and probably and well possibly as second striker too. Really happy that let's face it after a tough season for him, he has finished on a really good note. 4 goals in his last 3 games and scored the one that won us the title. Well done Bats!
-
And golden gloves goes to Courtois!
-
Well he is in double figures with assists. 23 league goals and 10 league assists. Fantastic tbh. He is one of the best players in league but imo seems underrated. Can't believe he did not get in tea of the year and when you consider his stats ands how he has carried Arsenal this season, he does not get recognition he deserves imo. We should go all out for him. Although I think Hazard is slightly better, there is not much difference but Sanchez is certainly a lot more potent in front of goal.

Who would have guessed we would have won the title after losing to Arsenal 3-0 and that was 3 games without a win and we were then 8 points behind City. Now we find ourselves 18 points ahead of them and 22 ahead of United. Majority of people thought the two clubs competing for the title would be out of the two PL clubs. But Conte brought in that 3-4-3 which really changed our fortunes and we went on that magnificent run. Every player in the squad has been worth their value. Kante, Hazard, Costa standout. However Luiz, Alonso, Moses and Azpi also have been excellent. Azpi is his usual consistent self however with all the slack Luiz got before beginning of season, he prob has been the best CB in league this season while Alonso is quite an unsung here. Been brilliant at LWB and contributed 6 goals which his fantastic. Moses too who a lot of people would have assumed his Chelsea career was done has been a big hit in that RWB formation. Also so ironic that other managers are replicating our formations now. Guess that is even more of a compliment to the job Conte has done. Congrats to team, fans and everyone connected with Chelsea. Another sensational game he was brilliant. Traore was the only player I was worried about from that team and he marginalised the threat by Traore and going forward was such a threat. He lost Traore so much times and could of had a hattrick. I don't know if the goal will be taken away from him but to have 5/6 goals for a LWB is brilliant. An unsung hero and another marvellous piece of business done by Conte. Certainly has been worth the money and said it before but he should have definitely been in that team of the year ahead of Rose.

Brilliant win! Showed no mercy and no complacency tonight. This is what Conte has added to the team. Makes sure we put in 100% every game. Fabregas was brilliant. 2 assists and could of had more. Every time he got the ball, you knew he was going to do something. To get into double figures despite not having much starts is a phenomenal achievement. Imagine how much he would have if he was starting games. We need to keep him next season. All the CM we been linked with have similar traits to Kante but there is not one player who we could replace Fabregas with if he were to leave. Alonso was brilliant tonight too. Marginalised the threat by Traore and was such a threat offensively. He could of had a bloody hattrick. Matic apart from 1 dodgy pass was class tonight as well. Azpi as usual was his brilliant self, as was Luiz and Cahill who were top notch as well. Sounding a bit greedy here but my two criticisms from tonight would be regarding Costa and Hazard. Costa scored and was decent but he ruins way too much moves. The amount of times he ruined an attack with a pass or trying to get past someone tonight was so frustrating. But he got to 20 league goals. It is just that we could of had more if he played to his best. The other one is Hazard. I thought he had a good game and I can understand him wanted to conserve himself a bit as we had the game wrapped from first minute really but I wish he had the mentality where he thinks to himself I am on 15 goals and just 5 behind to reach 20 for season. Can I push myself and get to 20 goals for the season with 4 games to play but he just did not. I mean we all know he cares about the team foremost then individual accolades but he could have really torn them apart if he wanted to and I was hoping he got a couple goals tonight because he has the ability to get to 20 plus goals. Anyway, just a small gripe like I said. The positives hugely override the negatives and look 1 win away. KTBFFH!

Sessegnon is not going to join us. If he does leave will most likely be to Liverpool imo. The only benefit of him coming here would be for monetary reasons.
