Still can't comprehend how we were not able to beat Bournemouth. How the hell did we lose against them 4-0 with their injuries. So frustrating, especially with the ease Cardiff and Liverpool are slicing through them.
-
Last season when they beat us 1-0 at the Etihad, they also had a game in the week against Arsenal at the Emirates and battered them 3-0. We did not have a game in the week but they absolutely played us off the park and the 1-0 scoreline did not reflect the total dominance from them. You would not have thought we had a whole week's rest and they had a fixture in the week. We played them too much respect. Doubt it will make much difference as I expect them to beat Everton and not use up much energy.

Nice to see a emphatic win (finally). A clean sheet picked up too which is always nice to add to the stats. Thought Kante was brilliant. He was like an ongoing marathon man. Nice to see Hazard get a brace too. Was waiting for him to boost his goal tally. Another bonus was seeing Barkley play the whole 90 mins also. Higuaín scored 2 very good goals. Hope City really thump Arsenal tomorrow. Had an interesting observation from today. At 2-0, the players warming up were Kovacic, RLC, Pedro and maybe even Giroud I think also. CHO was not warming up. As soon as we scored the third he was sent to warm up and then Sarri later brought him on. The crowd was obviously really pleased, however it posed a question to me.. will he ever trust CHO to start a league game? I mean because we have a few months remaining to prove why he should sign a contract in the summer but he will want to get starts in the PL. Because had it remained 2-0 for longer, he prob would not have come on. I do bare in mind he started him against Spurs in the first leg of that Carabao cup game and also brought him on really early against Watford, but now all our players are fit, will be interesting to see how prominent a player he is considered towards the end of the season.

He will be on the bench most likely, unless we go with false no.9. Hazard will start and Willian most likely will too.
-
Yes, but with all the speculation and us trying to prove he will get chances, you would think he would be on the bench at least.
-
No CHO on bench. Really strange. On other hand, no Callum Wilson for Bournemouth is a huge bonus.
-
Unless we have a replacement lined up, getting rid of Zappa is stupid. He should be playing this game and Azpi should be getting rest.
-
All I can say for Drinkwater is: What a life! (I don't need to explain what I mean).
-
We might as well accept it. He is not going to change his mind. He wants to go, we have been offered big money that may significantly reduce in summer. We're giving him more chances recently but his mind has already been made up. Even if he does play here, it will always be on and off if he was to sign a new contract. Bayern, the level of opponents will be better and let's be honest, he is joining a top team where he prob will play his favoured position too.

Assuming, CHO and Willian will be the wingers, I hope we see CHO on the LW and not the RW. He is effective on the right, due to his good crossing, however we don't see the best of him. When he is at LW, that is when you see him cause havoc and cut inside on his dangerous foot. Most games he plays for us, he seems to play on the right. Play him on the left and let him wreak havoc please Sarri.
-
How good was that cross for Giroud? The run was absolutely fantastic as well. While they may have limitations defensively, Emerson and Zappa are the only natural attacking FB that are able to charge down the flanks and whip those type of crosses in. So refreshing to see.
-
Barkley has been good. Giroud has been the only one I would say looks a bit off the pace.
-
Would of been a free-kick, but was a definite foul. Wow, what a reaction

Never thought I would see myself saying one day of the week against another (Sunday against Wednesday ) a non-football fan coming across that would think I am on drugs
-
Expecting him to go straight in the team for Sunday against Wednesday. Nice game for him to get his debut and hopefully a goal or 2 under his belt and if all goes well, should see him start the league game against Bournemouth too.
-
Footballing wise, that will be a huge blow to their top 4 chances. He only recently returned from injury and that is the side where they looked most vulnerable, when he was not playing. When is playing, he adds so much offensive bonus for them. Seems they are stuck with AMN, Lichsteiner and Jenkinson. Going to be a huge problem for them. Really sad for him but in terms of football, that will defo help us and hinder them.
-
He will play there no doubt. Bayern are not putting all their efforts in him for nothing. He will also start on merit. If he plays well, he will continue to play, unlike here. Over 90% of our fans were expecting to see him start against Huddersfield in our first game of the season and it turned out he was not even in the squad and he just went into oblivion. That was Sarri basically saying "you been really good but I value experience". Sancho and CHO are very similar and not a lot of difference. I can see CHO going another level in Bundesliga. Let's still note that CHO has not started a single PL game as of yet. Also, he prefers to play off the left. Although we are playing him more recently, we play him on the right and it just seems Sarri is forcing it due to the serious threat of him leaving, while beginning of the season he underestimated the fact. Words can't describe how upset I am about this, especially as I know he will tear the Bundesliga apart and will prob be full English international next season. We have been criticized for not giving chances to our academy products, but this one is a huge blow for us.

I voted Luiz, because apart from the first 10 mins when he played really wild, he actually kept Auba under control and looked more assured as the game went on. He set up our best chance of the game too with a brilliant pass for Pedro and nearly every long pass he made, carved a potential opportunity. I don't think he was unsuccessful with any long pass yesterday. Also he was not really at fault for any of the goals directly.

To put this into perspective, Klopp finished 8th in his first season. Only took till this season to finally get a new keep and the January transfer window to buy a top CB, despite fans banging on at him. But, look what he is doing now. We have to accept we will be frustrated by him choices, but we have to back him and realise it is a project we have to be patient with. Look at Guardiola at City. That took a while to come to fruition.
-
Hazard has gone of the boil recently, but you really think our best player should be benched in a crucial game like this. We have Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday. That is when he should be resting likes of Hazard.
-
The usual player for fans to scapegoat.
-
We're making Arsenal defence look incredible. This is a defence that only Fulham have fewer clean sheets than. Fix the fuck up!
-
Apparently, he is on £22k p/w right now. That is not bloody bad either. At 18!!! While I think the money is way too much what we are offering, if that is what it takes to keep him, then so be it. We need to show how much we want the player. Hopefully the money offered is backed up by the playing time too.
-
We have to offer him a two year contract. He has had a solid season. He had a poor game against Spurs and has kicked on ever since that but the media don't give him the praise for it because he is David Luiz. We have kept the second most clean sheets in the league and he is a big reason for that.

Spurs lost and I am happy. Kane possibly injured now too and they have CL. It defo suits us that Spurs lost. United are still 6 points behind us. We have a team we should beat comfortably in the EL while Spurs have a game that can go either way and have to play their best team. Fatigue hopefully will lie in. 2 points behind them and 6 points above Arsenal and United. Couldn't asked for anything better.
