Despite us losing the game, he was fantastic. Dominated that game when he came on. Can you believe he was only 17 years of age? His technical ability was brilliant. Should of made it at the top.

How did things go so downhill for him. Brentford have announced him amongst their release list this summer. Has suffered with numerous injuries too. His next club will be interesting to see. Will take a massive wage drop wherever he goes as I can't see much teams willing to pay him that much money as he is injury-prone.

We done it!

What a day. Top 4 is in our hands and we are somehow above Spurs. I remember a few weeks ago when that looked impossible. How football changes is amazing. Big credit to Sarri for motivating the team second half who were booed of at half time and considering Kante went off injured too. Clean sheet too which we haven't recorded for a while. Emphatic victory as well which helps the GD because depending on circs with Arsenal's match a draw might be enough to get us top 3/4. All the ups and down this season and we are so close to having a great season. It is amazing how RLC has forced himself in the first team reckoning. Adding goals to his game now too and really becoming all round midfielder. Can enjoy my bank holiday weekend knowing we are 3rd. Love it

Leno has been dodgy this season but has made some very good saves too. Kepa is better than him though imo. Gulasci have not seen much of him so can't say anything in regards to him.
-
Capoue out tomorrow which is a huge bonus for us. Him and Doucoure are an excellent combo. Capoue would of been used to break our midfield runs going through. RLC (assuming he starts) and Kante, will be vital making those charging runs.

Top man!! A guy who came through the Chelsea academy scoring the winning goal. Couldn't have asked for a better moment!

Loftus-Cheek been our best player by miles.

I am not denying that. It is just that people had already made their mind up after 1 month that he was a top signing and Robson was a madman. Few months down the line, I am just pointing out the big difference in opinion. I think he is a good player. In City he would look quality but he is being exposed right now. And if I am being honest, I do find fans on here very knee-jerk. They change opinions way too quickly. Not defending Jorginho but it is his first season here and it is a new system for the team and a lot of players adjusting to different style of football. But seems majority of people have made their minds up.
-
How opinions from fans change, wow. I remember early stages of the season, when Stewart Robson criticized the transfer and said he did not thought Jorginho had the qualities to be a DM. The amount of fans who was slating Robson, stating that he has no clue etc,. It just shows how fans are very quick to change opinion. Who would have thought few months down the line, fans would be stating Robson was proved right...

Yet your name is "Bakayokofan"?. Some odd guy you are. A player who was poor in his spell here. I don't give a shit if other big clubs don't want him. That is like me saying no other big club wanted Chupo-Moting but PSG ended up with him. LOL. Kante's role is to recover the ball. No it is not. His role is to recover the ball if we lose it. He is playing in a midfield 3 where the team is expected to have good technical quality. Sometimes his ball retention has been poor. I like Kante but I am not going to mask the fact that his season has been inconsistent. Well, I like him and I hope we do exercise that option to keep him. So because a player does not fulfil a footballing expectation, makes him a "piece of turd"? Brilliant logic....
-
Have a conversation rather than doing stupid laughing emojis constantly. I am not downplaying Kante but please, don't exaggerate and say he is performing out of his skin. Yes, he has had to adjust his role slightly but he has been inconsistent. Especially for the hype he is given. He is useful for counter-attacking, however for possession based play Sarri is looking to play, Kovacic sorts that aspect more. Kante is good for recovering lost balls etc. "Piece of turd". Sums you up. Why is he a piece of turd? Because he failed to live up to your expectation. Like I say, his goal output is not good but bar that aside I will keep him. I like him. I am not going to keep going in circles because I have already stated. I get it, you don't like him and curse him consistently. Maybe he stole your girl, I am not sure but agree to disagree.
-
He can actually hold the ball and draw opposition players out of their territory which allows space for our wingers and attacking players. For the way Sarri is looking to play, he is suited. He can get the ball from deep and you have confidence in him to hold the ball. Kante, whilst scoring more and more energy, he is sloppy in possession. Like I say stats don't always reflect the whole story. It would help if he had a player alongside him who can shoot from distance but we don't.
-
Not denying that, but I think it masks what he brings. He is a useful addition and like I say for £25m is a bargain.
-
Ermm…. it kept us possession. Freed up space for attacking players. Did Kante run past players and give any end product? Please... your vendetta is getting a bit ridiculous.
-
He got lucky not being sent off bot other than that he was quite good. Kept the ball well, ran past United players with ease and actually made a brilliant tackle too.
-
Kovacic played really well before going off actually. Luiz improved a lot of second half. If only Higuaín only scored that chance at the end. Higuaín was so frustrating that game though. Was like playing with 10 men. Always offside and just not in tune with play. Will take the point but our next 2 games in the league are going to be difficult. Especially Leicester.

RLC or Barkley add a lot more physical presence. Pogba is playing against diminutive players, which is why he always looks the shit in these type of games.
-
We somehow go level at H/T thanks to another DDG blunder. Other than that have been awful. Pogba is dominating the game. I knew this would happen. Their physicality is just way too imposing for us. This is why we can't get a foothold in the game. Azpi looks vulnerable and needs to put on some muscle. James needs to be given a serious shot to prove himself next season. Something needs to change second half, because although we have an equalizer the game pattern will continue. One thing that lacks when RLC is not in the team is the physicality. Too many weaklings in the team.
-
He is getting a lot off flack on here for lack of goals/assists but I think if the £25m figure being reported is true, it is a bargain and would take him in an instance.

What a weekend! Spurs, United and Arsenal all lost. We must win tomorrow and even if we are in a comfortable lead we need to continue to go for goals. This may well come down to goal difference and it is important we score as much as possible. Right now that is what is keeping Arsenal ahead of us. Fantastic weekend all round!
-
Weekend! Spurs losing too. Let's hope Arsenal don't stage any crazy comeback. WOW.
-
Ideally yes, but it is a good thing. Look at Maitland-Niles for Arsenal. He has featured for them at both full back positions as well as playing CM. Interesting though. I mean if he plays with top class players regularly, he will improve more so hopefully he is given a chance next season. He done an epic run earlier today. Would love for someone to post it in here.

Watching the Leeds and Wigan and once again have to say, what a performance! Been watching the whole game. Relegation threatened Wigan with 10 men have beaten promotion chasing Leeds on their own patch and he has been the standout player along with Gavin Massey. Surely James will be given MOTM. Been outstanding and the commentator cannot stop running with compliments for the player. What a player we have on our books. Bossed the game
