  1. Wow, wow, wow GUYS! Relax now, come on! Any team that makes it into the Champions League should not be taken lightly. That being said, it is a must win fixture. But if we draw them, or, God forbid it, lose, then our group will be much harder to top. I watch FCN rather often, and with their pace they could be lethal on counters. I would like to see a 'close' to normal starting 11, and if we lead by a few goals coming into the second leg, then sub them off and bring on some younger players. Not saying we should play all of Mata, Oscar, Hazard and Torres, but better be safe than sorry? Crazier things has happened, so I'm fairly confident that RDM will put on a strong team. This game is of equal importance compared to the Norwich game, if we want to do well in Europe.
  2. I don't think he played a bad game. Not his best, that's for sure, but one can't underestimate his work rate. His defensive contribution seems to be forgotten, but I think he played a major part in the win yesterday.
  3. They are by far not my favorite team in Denmark, but gotta give credit where it's due. They won the Danish National Championships, using the style of football that we want to play. They have a decent defense at best, but their offensive is what we should be keeping an eye on. I would highlight Jores Okore as their key player, he is a real gem and followed closely by several good clubs in Europe. That being said, it should be a fairly easy win for the Blues. It would not classify them as better than FC Copenhagen at all, but they took their chances and made it through to the Champions League, and it deserves a certain amount of respect
  4. Nor-she-lan. ('she' like in shelves) Looking forward to this game, as it'll be the 3rd Chelsea game I'll be watching live! I'm goíng to sit next to all the Chelsea fans, and right now 30000 tickets have already been sold, but expecting close to full capacity. CANNOT WAIT!!!!! I think we'll see a few changes from the Arsenal game: Cech Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Cole Lampard - Mikel Moses - Mata - Hazard Torres Should be a comfortable win for sure, but never underestimate any team in Champions League. Sub a few players if we get an early lead, but we can't take this game lightly. Funny thing though, right now it seems that more Chelsea fans will attend to the game than FC Norsjælland supporters, lol. Anyways, I'll be in the stands with my mates and cheering the Blues to victory. We welcome the boys in blue to Denmark, and hoping for a delightful show from our players. 0-4 will be my prediction, if eveything goes according to plan. See ya, lads
  5. Cech Brana - Terry - Luiz - Cole Ramires - Mikel Oscar - Mata - Hazard Torres Chelsea TV.
  6. Apparently Marin didn't make it to the squad according to Chelsea TV. However Lucas Piazon did!
  7. Keep the spirit and the blue flag flying high! Have a good feeling about this, someone mentioned a Hazard goal, and I feel that vibe! Hoping to see the same team from the Stoke game, but not sure whether or not it'll be a good idea though. Let's snub the 3 points, and maintain the bragging rights over Le Arse. My bet is a tough 3-1 win for the boys in blue. Chelsea 3 - 1 Arsenal 16' min - Hazard 33' min - Podolski 69' min - Terry 82' min - Torres Fingers crossed, let's hope for a good and fair game!
  8. Nordsjælland Yeah, it'd be good to see him play, especially considering that I got tickets for the game! Can't wait for that one
  9. Why shouldn't they? Mata is better than Carzola.
  10. Oscar is great. So is Mata. And so is Hazard. Let's not worry about who's the best. Let the opposition do that
  11. Absolutely love this guy. I really do! So humble, so unselfish and what a player. He has got that SPECIAL thing we all lust for in a creative and offensive footballer. Ever since he came to Chelsea he hasn't ceased to amaze me, and I am confident that he remains one of the best purchases ever done by our club. Furthermore he seems to love the city and his surroundings, and wants to improve, thus help Chelsea succeed. What a story. Wins the FA cup and UCL in his first season. With Juan, Hazard, Oscar and Moses we've got ourselves a branch of the best offensive players in the world if we use em' right. Let's hope so. Mata, may the future be forever blue! KTBFFH!
  12. I can only speak for my part of the country (although Denmark is not that large compared to other countries) and we do actually have quite a few more fans than I expected. When I started in highschool 2 months ago, I knew, what? 9 Chelsea supporters in my previous school, and the number increased as I moved to the new school to around 17 now. So they are fairly big here. Not really comparable to Liverpool or Barca, but I know more Chelsea fans than Madrid. Would probably go with this: 1. Liverpool/Barcelona 2. Liverpool/Barcelona 3. United 4. Chelsea 5. Madrid 6. City Not that big of a gap from us to United though
  13. So we basically wish for the same thing to happen. RDM to succeed, to scrap the overload of defensive players against teams we should be able to cope with like QPR, and for us to be a top contender for the Premiership. Glad we got that sorted out mate .
  14. You quoted me, so I think it must be a tad bit personal . I'm agreeing with you regarding the line up. We can't keep playing like that. But let's discuss whether or not RDM is the right man for Chelsea in a few months, that's all I'm saying .
  15. How am I delusive? What makes me delusive and not you? Am I not entitled to my opinion just as much as you are? I think so. Newcastle were a decent a team. Granted, they didn't have their best game, but they spanked us last year. By the way, I have not said anything about us playing well. All I asked for was not to always focus on the negatives. Of course there will be things to work on with the new squad. And we saw last year that we need one hell of an overhaul. We have bought some very promising players, and I think that they will contribute to great things in the long run. I understand people may be lacking understanding to RDM's decision making. But all I am asking for is time. Nothing more. As I mentioned earlier we will see if he is in fact the right manager later. It's too early now.
  16. Sadly, people tend to forget the positives. The team needs to gel. I expect a top 4 this year, and maybe a win in the FA cup or World Cup. Those two would be enough for me.
  17. If so, you could say that about every team in the world, man. Of course the players played the biggest part in winning the Champions League. After all it was them who played the final, not Robbie. However he did settle peace back to dressing room told by several of the "Old Guard". I am convinced that he played a part in it, albeit not as big as the players. Don't underestimate what he did for our club. After all, he was the one to bring it home, not José, not Ancelotti, not Scolari, not Grant. Roberto Di Matteo. And that deserves some real fucking credit.
  18. To say RDM didn't do anything in order to win us the Champions League is complete rubbish. Come on? The team was torn to pieces by AVB and to bring back the morale in dressing room, and being able to win the FA cup and the Champions League should not be taking lightly. Of course the players play a big part in the triumph. But don't they always? You could say the same about Barcelona, Real Madrid and City. Go out and play the best you can, and they will win. The manager plays a big part, and so did Di Matteo. We played the only way the team we had back then could, and that was defending throughout the game, and succeeded. I'm not saying that RDM is a perfect match. I'm not saying he will be the manager after this season. But to sack him now would be mad. He deserves a chance and we need consistency. I agree with you, 10-20 PL games, and we might be able to get an overview, but for now, it is way to early too judge him. I just hate the way people start moaning EVERYTIME a bad result comes along. Of course we'll have bad games! We are in the midst of a Blue revolution, and I can't remember a season like this that I've been so excited about. Oscar, Moses, Hazard, Marin, Azpi are all good and most importantly young players. I for one support RDM all the way, but we as fans certainly have the right to question his tactics which I also do. Don't get me wrong.
  19. Like Di Matteo said: "If you win, you're a tactical genius, if not, people will criticize everything about your lineup'" Give him time. Yes I agree that we played way too defensive today, but do you even remember last season? AVB complete and utterly destroyed our strong defensive mentality, and scrapped everything that Chelsea was built on. It takes time, and I understand that Di Matteo wants to bring balance to the team by implementing a solid 4 back first. Remember the season where Cech broke the record for most minutes without conceding a goal? That being said, I don't get why he chose Ramires and Betrand over Moses or Oscar. Oscar might be justified by the lack of Premier League games at the moment, and to throw him into the heat could have turned out worse. But Moses looked sharp when he came on the pitch, and we need to be sharp to take the 3 points even when the team has an off-day. Torres had a good first half, but didn't have much to work with in the second. Sturridge was another bright substitute, I'd like to see more of him. Maybe try out something different against Nordsjælland? I'm hoping so. I want RDM to succeeded more than anyone. And it's far too early to decided whether or not he is the right man for the job. But winning us the Champions League trophy should at least give you more than 4 PL games, 1 Supercup (still hurts) and a Mickey Mouse Shield. Come on guys.
  20. In my opinion, we saw a brief glimpse of what we're hoping to create this season. Hazard had a stunning start, which resulted in 2 quick goals. Of course that meant that RDM was able to sit back and watch the game out, which clearly showed that we have lots of aspects to work on. But hey, who expected that we were going to absolutely dominate opposition from the start? Not me. Torres was invisible in the first half for me, but had some good chances who, with a tiny bit of luck, would have turned out to be a goal. Wigan is not a walkover opponent, and we know that. I thought especially Moses looked sharp, and I know see why we are interested. Could turn out to be a good player, if not, at least adding depth to the squad. Can't wait till we face Reading. Hoping to see some more of Oscar, he seems very mature, considering his age. UP CHELS!
