Mikel and Khedira are different type of players. Obi is a backup for Matic: big, strong, high passing accuracy, lots of tackles.. Khedira is more like a box-to-box. Not a bad player but it'd be pointless to sign him and let Rami go, even if we earned a couple of millions on the Brazilian.

You didn't but this is Khedira's thread in transfer talk and we are reportedly interested in signing him. Matic-Fábregas in the pivot works very well, Ramires is much better than him, Mikel is a decent backup, Aké is very promising. I hope Mourinho doesn't want him.

Willian is very talented, sure, but Malouda had some fantastic seasons here and scoret plenty of important goals. Willian haven't showed his class yet, he needs to play much better for months to become nearly as succesful as Malouda, Kalou or Joe Cole.
