  1. Would rather have had a lower league team but an away days an away day.
  2. We need stability more than trophies. We have been spoilt in the last few years and now too many expect instant success when really these things take time and patience. What Carlo achieved last year deserves at the very least the time and support to turn it around.
  3. It's because all 3 exits lead onto the same road. Then there is the rail line behind the east stand and the district line runs right behind the Matthew Harding, a right pain in the arse tbh but thats what comes with being in such a fantastic location. Personally I don't want a move and really don't think we need to as much as everyone makes out - Bolton, Villa and Ipswich have all gone on general sale and big games aside tickets really aren't that hard to come by if you are a member. There is no way we would sell out 60,000 every week unless tickets prices went right down (won't happen). With my latest visit to the emirates still fresh in the memory the thought of a new stadium is even more unappealing than usual. As for the ground share, no thanks. That would really be awful.
  4. Heres to 2010, the year Chelsea did the double.
  5. Yes and Drayton Arms opposite the ground.
  6. Not really but worse than it's been at any point during the last month or so, but this is London which for some reason goes into meltdown at the first sight of snow.
  7. You have missed the point. I am not denying the fact we have problems but I think you need to lighten up a bit and think positive.
  8. This is the biggest game of the season so far, and it's Spurs away. Thankfully the travelling blues aren't all doom mongers like you and will show up believing we can win. Supporters up their game when they are the underdogs. At the start of the season this was the one match I wanted to win more than any other, even more so after recent events.
  9. A win would make us the first English team to win all 6 group games so theres still something to play for.
  10. Saw him in the east upper after the 1-0 win over Spurs 06/07, and he has come out on stage to the liquidator before. btw if you are a fan look for 15 storeys high on youtube, it's a sitcom he made years ago that wasn't very popular at the time and didn't get commissioned for a 3rd series but it's brilliant.
  11. Very cold but no snow here yet, hope it stays that way.
  12. Boring, but a chance for the kids I suppose. But Serge and Noel - amazing, what are the chances of them both pulling out their own teams!
  13. Sounds like you probably won't be able to see the corner flag in the shed/east stand corner. For a long time we were in seperate divisions and rarely played each other, as a result we formed much fiercer rivalries with other teams and not so much with Fulham. Those other clubs you mentioned have played each other regularly throughout their history. Also years ago many fans would watch Chelsea at home one week then Fulham the next if they didn't travel to away games. Although Fulham fans do hate us and consider us their biggest game of the season the hatred is a bit one sided.
  14. Does anyone have a clip/photo of said Joe Cole incident?
  15. Horrible day, complete contrast to our last visit there. Glad we are playing Wednesday to hopefully get back on track. Win or lose up the blues.
  16. But adidas World Cup or mudial >>> all
  17. So thats now midweek aways at Bolton and Wolves in Jan and Sunderland on Feb 1st. Fantastic.
