I don't think it was disrespectful. May be it was inconsiderate of Lambert's feeling but I see no psychological hostility in Jose's action.

How is it possible people could get this all wrong? It is very clear, to be frank. Man. City clearly out muscled us in the midfield and their own half (Fernandinho, Yaya, Kompany, Mangala, Milner, Zabaleta ... hello ) and the referee allowed their reckless tackles and tactical fouls. We hand no choice what's so ever but to drop deep. Besides, as Jose put it, they were getting emotional and with the crowd behind them they had momentum. I'm just glad no one was injured.

If the dressing room was to be disturbed on the account of his new contract, it should have been already since he had been paid the biggest wage of 175/185k a week ... 200K isn't much of a step-up. I thought it'd be something above 250k....wish it was a 6/7 year contract though
