True. I don't get why there couldn't be made a deal for next season like Barca's one with their keepers, where ter Stegen plays in all the non-La Liga competitions.

I and someone else out there who feels the samr want us to not take these remaining 3 games truly lightly, so let's try to experiment in the most possible logical cases. I really want Liverpool to suffer thinking of the 'one that got away' last season because of us, while giving us the guard. West Brom fans are lousy. We haven't won there since either '10 or '11. Oh, Sunderland are the ones that need to be humiliated like Ramsay with Reek. Who can forget about them last season. How about Cech at GK for Liverpool & West Brom and Courtois in the final game. Azpi at RB, Ivanovic-Zouma/Terry/Cahill at CB, Filipe at LB with Aké being second choice. Matic taking a well-deserved break and only becoming a sub, Cesc staying put for the assists' sake, RLC & Mikel as the DMs, Cuadrado and Hazard as wingers and Rémy or Drog. The point with these ideas is that I have a feeling we don't really need to keep buying new players. It's been showm that these players are more attuned attuned to the collective duties of a squad more than self-brilliance. They follow Mou's instructions with a collective mind. Let's give it a chance.

This is been coming for ages. No matter how good our defense is (we really do have one of the best defenses in professional football), there will always come moments where the opposition deservedly scores. We are so unbelievably lethargic in attack and apart from Drogba, we keep f***ing having the handicap of Azpilicueta not offering anything in attack because of his right foot. I counted at least 5 situations where Filipe Luis could have been useful in attack. I'm s**k of this sh*t. He's not more or less better than Filipe, so why should Mourinho keep shooting the team in the foot by selecting him???
-
Watching the DFB-Pokal and Lewandowski got seriously and viciously assaulted by Dortmund's keeper while he came first for the ball in the air, and a penalty wasn't even given. Lewandowski got clearly knocked out, as in his head fell painfully hard on the ground. Like Drogba against Norwich in '11. Goalkeepers have too much freedom. They should be punished severely when they intentionally foul a player while the ball is in the air.
-
We're playing at home against an injury-riddled team like Almeria would play against Barcelona away. Yet, so many were quick to insult forum members who had the ''balls'' to despise Mourinho's scummy negative tactics after the QPR game.
-
Me too, I'm eternally grateful that he came back, but we should learn from United 11/12 and Liverpool last season. PSG at home should remind anyone of not taking anything lighty because of comfort zone stubbornness. I'm grateful for him, but no one is above the club and we were lucky to win today.
-
His pathetic stubbornness is sickening. The frustration of watching the game vs QPR proved one thing; He shouldn't f**king be put on a pedestal if he isn't willing of taking advantage of our squad and balance the defending and attacking tactics, if we lose the title because he doesn't maximize the potential of the LB & RB positions, he should never be forgiven. Our left side was handicapped the whole game. Azpilicueta, bless him, was doing his best to connect with Hazard & Cesc in attack on many occasions but him being right-footed made it impossible for him to put in correct crosses with his left foot for example. I remember vividly a game under AVB where we played Norwich away and drew 0-0. If you look at the team sheet from that game and the team sheet to today's game, you can see that there has been an upgrade on many of the positions, but yet we're playing lethargically in a pathetic and frustrating way that makes you want to scream at the screen. It's pathetic that he keeps using the same selection, it's pathetic that he keeps using the pathetic excuse of Ivanovic and it's also pathetic that he doesn't learn from his pathetic mistakes. Like honestly, if Phillips' shot had went in and we drew/lost, would he have had a genuine explanation of why we didn't lose other than honestly say that QPR defended and pressed well? I really hate to be fear-mongering right now, but we've survived the dark days of Ancelotti 10/11, AVB & Di Matteo (Benitez did fine given the circumstances), and we have the means at our disposal to never experience those painful moments again. I don't mind grinding out results, but we need to minimize the risk of playing like we did today against all teams. Ivanovic is the one of a few to blame really. His complacency is plain to see, you can tell by his body language that he's not willing to go a painful extra mile of becoming better than he already is because he's guaranteed a starting spot for the remaining games.
-
Something tells me that Ramires is the one to be optimistic about. The team selection is so predictable at this crucial point of that you can't help but get that nagging feeling of irritability. The teams we're gonna meet should be made to worry of some changements. Like why not rest someone like Fabregas and use Oscar as Matic's partner? Oscar is so underrated at DM, his games for us there with Benitez at the helm were better than him at CAM, ever. Right now we're seeing signs of stubbornness from Mourinho and we never want a repeat of the PSG game. I hope I'm totally wrong though..
-
Sickening selection again. How dare he use Azpilicueta again on the LB when Filipe has shown us that Azpi should not only dethrone Ivanovic for the RB spot, but Azpi shouldn't himself get a f**king sniff of the LB spot when Filipe is fit?? We're f***ing playing for the title and yet we''ve guaranteed Stoke some neat comfort right there since Azpi literally can't do almost nothing less than just defend there. You'd think Mourinho had learned a lesson against So'ton, but no, hell to the no. I won't be shocked if we struggle and Stoke outplay us tactically, and the pain of having this sh**t, naive, moronic selection play for us during this very important time is f**king inexscusable. If we do a United 11-12 and don't win the title, he should get sacked and his legacy shattered because of this annoying smug stubbornness.
-
Having slated Ivanovic for the past games, I think that, if he has his complacency in check, he could be very useful in defense and only dead-balls in attack for this particular game. After watching Willian play for Brazil without the orders of having to bail out the right-back, I really do think that Ivanovic can be better on a short leash, ie. not fucking playing as a wannabe winger. I'd go with this; Courtois Ivanovic Zouma Terry FL Cesc Matic Willian/Cuadrado Oscar/Willian Hazard Costa (Rémy if Costa's injured)
-
The 'amazing' thing about him is that he's left-footed, no one in their right minds believe that he's a god, but compared with being congruent with the LB spot, he's miles ahead of Azpi. Azpi is very very good at defending there, but he offers very little in other aspects. Filipe can defend more or less just as well and he's so much better at doing everything else that's required of a left-back. Oh and he's very keen at pressing all the time!!
-
Very grateful for the win, and honestly Hull deserved at least a point for their awesome and fearless performance, I definitely would have had a sour taste if I was a neutral watching the game. I just hope this win doesn't paper over the cracks. It's inexcusable that a top team without injuries can not exude confidence throughout the game against any other team. The amount of times we lost possession because of Hull's collective pressing was embarrassing to say the least. Ivanovic shouldn't f**king be the number 1 RB. It also always seems as if we don't have a concrete gameplan when we have possession. Really hope the international break is time for the coaching staff to reflect and really visualize how to implement the tactics needed to make our squad play collectively neatly. Really happy for Remy. He's our perfect back-up and we should do everything to keep him here till he retires. He just exudes gratefulness for being in a top team, he gives you confidence when he's on the pitch, and tbh he could compete against Costa for the starting place if it wasn't for Costa being our trademark striker atm. MOTM is Courtois!! Goddamn that triple-save was otherworldly! He had a reminiscent situation in the Copa against Real when Atleti won it at the Bernabeu.
-
What truly makes one's blood boil is Ivanovic being unconditionally loved by Mourinho while it's clear to see he's the weaker than weak link in our defense. Newcastle, Tottenham, PSG, Utd, Saints and probably a lot of other teams that we've won/drawn against always were always intent on abusing our right-side. A wake-up call for someone to drop the guy or move him to CB can't get any bigger than this game.
-
It's psychologically human nature to use 'abominable' words when you're venting your frustration when feeling a collective injustice. By collective, I mean feeling frustrated for the club, it's clear as day that Azpilicueta doesn't f**king deserve the LB spot when we've got an excellent, tactically astute LB who's not only left-footed, but has more or less as much defensive awareness as Azpilicueta. Ivanovic should be the only one to worry that Azpi's gonna take his spot. Do I need to elaborate my frustration by also talking about Oscar? I'm sick and tired of this popular trend of fan-shaming. If you stopped looking at people's posts from the ego's perspective, you would realize maybe that people's frustration is caused by the caring for the club's well-being on the pitch.
-
Traits of a mad scientist right there. I hope we win, because the club comes first, but some part of me wants him hanged if we lose/draw because of this.. All those players are surely knackered after Wednesday. Fuck his stubbornness, even if we win this game, it'll just amplify his sickening comfort zone by believing that he did the right thing and the circle will keep continuing unless we don't win the league. That's not even a sure thing if he's still backed unconditionally by the majority then. I feel sorry for players like Cuadrado, Filipe, Remy who must be scratching their heads in frustration and disgust at not being picked over their counter-parts who don't deserve to play in this game after Wednesday's travesty.
-
The problem with him generally, and I've noticed it since the first 12 games of the season, is that he's in a huge and unshakeable comfort zone when it comes to team selection. Azpilicueta, Costa, Oscar, Fabregas, Ivanovic always know that they will be picked in the starting 11 in every game bar the FA & the League Cup, while we have other good players who can do the same if not a better job on average in those guys' positions. The game against PSG was perfect for players like Rémy (he should have come around the 65-70th minute mark to confuse the defenders, you could tell that PSG's back four had Costa where they wanted him then), or Filipe Luis. Like why not use a goddam left-footed left back who is not only as good at defending, but connects very well in attack, and is very proactive?? Azpilicueta doesn't deserve to be the number 1 left-back simply because he's not left-footed nor can provide the help that Hazard needs on the wing. It's so painful to always see him on the starting 11 at that spot, if he was put up in a fight for the RB against Ivanovic, I actually think he would win it overall. We very badly need Filipe Luis against the ''big sides'' and it's painful to watch him rot undeservedly on the bench because of Mourinho's stubbornness.
-
I just hope this is a blessing in disguise in that Mourinho never uses those cowardly tactics, you can hate Guardiola but at least he always has the intent to dominate whichever opponent, even though it may backfire from time. What pains me so much is that we have such a royally better team than the one in 11-12 and yet we still have to experience cowardly defending at home against a lousy and soulless club like that shower of French sh*t. Look how we played at the start of extra-time, we looked so much more lively and we didn't give them but when we scored, the bus-parking started again. So much pain right now...
-
Cahill?? Really?? Filipe Luis should have been number 1 over Azpi in LB or at least get to play in DM since he's very intelligent in dealing with his selected targets in a game. I still prefer to look on the bright side, and I f**king hope Mourinho had some otherworldy epiphany to get this idea of using Cahill somewhere else than CB.

Besides wishing for a colossal psychological terror on Barnes virtually, as well as IRL, I think that we actually played very neatly. Before the send-off, we looked more like scoring than them even having a header from a successful cross, and it's totally understandable that the tables were turned when Matic was sent off (it made me realise how much injustice in general can make a good-mannered person do horrendous acts (of revenge). Filipe Luis is the one who impressed me the most, and unfortunately, most fans have already forgotten his performance because of that c*nt. Just thinking about Barnes makes wanna send him a credible and protection-worthy death threat. I really hope José starts giving Filipe more green-lights to start, cause overall, he amplifies the LB spot much more than Azpi, cause Azpi always has the disadvantage of being right-footed, and Filipe is simply astonishing with the way he deals with the other team's attacking. You'll never see Azpi make 'unusual' successful tackles on a more than average basis. He should even get the nod to play in the COC final. I lost count of how much he was getting dangerously around in the build-up plays.

It's easy to be honest, for the simple reason that they are COMPENSATING for some emptiness inside them. When you look at them provoking, singing and by the look of it, having fun, you realize for a fact that they are having superficial fun, that black guy enjoys on average his life much better than those no-life vermin. They are probably drunks who are social losers, they have mental problems, basically they are denigrating another living being, hence the only thing close to happiness they can get is that superficial and empty feeling of power/bliss. Simple human psychology. Any open-minded individual who treats others as he wants to be treated has a quality of life (spiritually, physically and mentally) that's at least 10000x better than theirs.

A big part of me wishes that they'd have stumbled on a pack of gangbangers at the next stop. French gangbangers from the banlieues are without a doubt the most dangerous and most psychotic in Western Europe, and my, would it have been so neat for those inbreds to get a beating worth of physical shock and mental trauma.
-
Thank you for the reply! I honestly think that Ancelotti learned from what Mourinho endured against those egoistical p*tos, and he's being two-faced with the man-management. Deep inside, he knows that any of the star players would organize a lynch mob against him if he flat-out told them they weren't performing very well and they would have to be second-fiddle to a not so star player.
-
Thank you very much, ma man. I'm not being superficial by saying that I'm gonna watch it with full curiosity! Cheers!!
-
Thank you very much for the reply. I didn't expect nor wanted you to go that much in depth with it, but I'm eternally grateful for it. I guess him being Portuguese and potentially dominating the best Spanish league was fuel to those miserable journalists' hatred against him. One last question, if you don't mind: Would you say that Cristiano sold his soul to the devil that is Madridismo at the time of Jose's feud with Casillas, so that there couldn't be any suspicion about him supporting his countryman?
-
supporter, you're a Spaniard. How would you say the general opinion in the media was towards him compared to the English media's? I always had this impression that the Spanish media was so much more sensationalist than the English pieces of dogcr*p, but now I'm starting to think that the Spanish didn't have an agenda and insulted him rightfully, like when his team got humiliated by Barca or Dortmund.
