Spike, I know that you antipodeans like 'em young mate but Jesuschrist on a bicycle! 29 ain't old and he has a habit of staying healthy.....
-
Josh isn't the answer..
-
Sadly I think that you are right mate but who is available with the quality that we would need for our season. Alves? With Lamps playing in the Makelele role? Mata would then be free to range deeper....
-
I was thinking of Dempsey whilst wistfully thinking back to the pairing Hasselbaink and Godjohnnson
-
What about Dempsey? Proven goalscorer at any level wants to play in the Champions league and I think that he would be a good fit. What say you?
-
I don't think that we want or more importantly need Modric. We need Frank to nail that position in front of the back four, and a world class right back. Just before I receive pelters Brana is not the long term solution there. He is wasted in that position.

That kit looks more like it would be at home at White Hart Lane than the 'Bridge..Jesus Christ on a bicycle whatever next?

Back in the late 60's us skins had a fashion of wearing long white butchers coats with the Chelsea emblem on the backs and covered with players names and the mob you were with. Iknow,..I know.....

This win reminds me so much of when we beat Leeds in the replay 1970, in that we've beaten a team who put the mockers on us in big games, and I just love shoving it it up them. C'on Chelsea, C'on Chelsea..hark do I hear the Harry J Allstars warming up? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLjMOCAaBCw&feature=related -

It's absolutely imperitive that ITV never have the rights to football again. Their pundits and commentary team are woeful in the extreme. They impune John Terrys character at every oppotunity and rather than celebrate the play and fortitude of a good Chelsea team they would rather say that all anyone will talk about in future years will be the Liverpool goal attemp that didn't cross the line. -

I've just watched this Pato on Youtube.....Yes please !

I have to admit that Roberto has/and is making a case for a permenant job as manager, however it was only a short while ago that he was sacked at the Baggies as a direct result of his inabilitiy to adjust to the oppositions tatics. There is no doubting his man management skills, none but what are his talents like at coaching and scouting. If we can't have Jose, Gus or Carlo back then Roberto should have a shot at the job.

Took Biggles the Lab for a run this morning, why is it o.k for him to lay on the sofa with his tongue hanging out, but I have to help get the dinner ready for the boys. I mean it's 'she who must be obeyed' dog.

Welcome mate, the natives are friendly. -
Hello and welcome, I've been made to feel right at home here too. Just resist any urges to invade Poland...lol

Let's just DO it!! I'll have seen Chelsea win the FA Cup, The League Cup, The European Cup Winners Cup, The Super Cup, The League, The Double and to cap it all with the European Cup would be a dream come true......I remember vividly standing on the terraces at Wembley watching Stoke beat us in the League Cup Final wondering if I'd ever see Chelsea win the League or even ever win anything again as we might of gone out of business when we built that stand....
-
Thanks for the warm welcome, the bad news is that I intend to stick around. Rob C'on you Blues!
-
Sloth, Like you I would have Jose back in a heartbeat. The rumour mill has him coming here with 25m to Real and 9m a year to Jose and an unlimited cheque-book to rebuild the squad. The knock on Roberto is: has he learnt from his spell at the Baggies, after his first 6months teams tumbled to his tactics and and unlike Jose, he couldn't adjust out of them at half-time.
