Id love that but even if we wanted, he is worth 120-150m now. Even with the cash we have (likely we will rival real, barca, psg, city after we couldnt spend much due to ban), I dont see us pulling this deal. Not with Odoi and Pulisic already at the club. I think sacrificing one season for greater good is no brainer. Would you prefer 4th this season and 4th for next 3 (playing safe) or lets say 7th this season (integrating youth) and big chance to run for top spots within next 3 years. Doesnt matter if we play for results this year, some teams are simply too good right now. And the best is to just try new players and that will show who is good enough to stay for big things. I realy believe we have a massive generation of players coming. It may sound like too soon, but Ive been vocal before the season and it only convinced me further that this crop of players will be here to stay. Talent aside, Tammy, Odoi, Tomori, Mount, Reece absolutely have great mentality. The fact Lamps is around can only push them forward and keep on the ground. Then you have bunch of others like Ampadu, Gilmour, Castillo or Guehi along with more experienced AC and RLC. If I had to be bold, Id say this team will be running for PL title in few years.

We will just agree to disagree then To me he was our most dangerous player. He doesnt have great ball control, but he moves well and he is real pain in the ass with his size and speed. At first I thought he was realy realy lucky with the goals (before wolves game), but Im actualy convinced his movement and phyisical qualities will make him a formidable forward as long he gets good balls. He will end up with 20 goals+. That 1v1 was realy shitty decision from him, but Im sure he will improve those. Even Aguero or Firmino missed those in younger years. Mbappe missed that sort of chance last year in CL. Against Pool, he had that 1v1, a dangerous header and that fancy back heel. If he gets these kind of chances vs a team like Pool, he will rip many teams.

No its realy not like that. I thought we played well, I only pointed out that our defending wasnt bad despite people saying it (except for the free kick situations). Also just because Tammy missed the sitter, that doesnt mean we didnt attack well. Id say Tammy was actualy very dangerous through the game, he just didnt score.

If the Drinkwater fiasco deal didnt ruin this club, then Odoi deal wont either. Thing with Odoi is we are not paying him because he proved his worth but because potential. Mount, Tomori, Tammy,...they can request fees like that but they dont have such high ceiling and the club wont accept it. However if they all perform very well, then no trouble paying them those fees because they deserve it. If you are worried we will only be able to keep top talent only if we pay them from now on...well as of last spring, we didnt have "Odoi fee" situation yet and he still was flirting with Bayern; if we didnt pay him he would leave. So either way if we pay Odoi 150k per week or no, talents like him wont stay here unless they get paid because if not us, then someone else will pay them (like bayern). Good thing about CHO is that he adapted his style depending on which side he played. On left he cuts in while on right he usualy crosses. Same thing that Sancho does, however that guy is even more unpredictable.
