If it was a short term solution, why'd the club agree a future fee for Sancho? Now have to pay 5m to get out of signing him.

Sancho was a disaster. We are paying a lot in wages for someone who has got 3G 5A in 31 league appearances. His stats look good only because of contributions in the Conference League.

If you are going for 45 players in a summer some are bound to be decent. (Samu I'd still avoid) The board also decided to sign Felix and Sancho to bolster the attack last summer.

If Gyokeres and Sesko have not given us the green light, I'd go with Ekitike Rather get a striker who is technically good than wait around again. We have waited few summers now to address the striker position and I'll just take whatever quality we can sign this year.

I would love Maignan (unless form has tailed off last year), Chevalier or Garcia. Get any and sell Sanchez Kepa and Jorgensen
