Watching him for the first time in game conditions vs Botafogo right now. He's playing on the left and has been quiet + not as comfortable on this side. But have to say his workrate is high and he's seriously good on the ball - Palmeiras basically turn to him all the time and he wants the ball all the time - which is a great sign - an 18 year old becoming a mainstay in attack.
We should treat him like Pep treated Foden for years or Yamal in Barca in 23-24 or Nwaneri at Arsenal last season. Have him on rotation and gradually increase gametime as he becomes familiar with the league.
There is only a small band of elite players available in the market and on the move. 15 sounds about right!
It would be useful to have one more quality player behind the striker and take the burden off Palmer to do something when we are stuck against low blocks.
I would however go to Palace for Eze for the price quoted for Joao Pedro.
Emi Martinez is a wonderful shithouse. Villa are looking to sell him too for PSR reasons
Not sure about his ball playing but I'd take him for a cheap fee and give Penders a good loan and ready him for a future transition.
Xavi/ Eze/ Morgan Rogers for ~£70m >>> Gittens for £55m
If we wanted a youngster, why not Malick Fofana in a cut-price deal when Lyon have financial problems? The board is getting another summer wrong after a promising start.
Seriously hope this is true because we will need an attacking signing that takes the burden off Palmer or we will regret it within the first few weeks of the season
