  1. Poor from Sanchez - turning this around is going to be hard
  2. Should win these games if we are targeting top 4 honestly. United are there for the taking
  3. makes the win last week significant. we could have easily dropped points if Isak had finished after going around Sanchez. But still largely controlled the game against a decent side I thought
  4. Many found our striker target list crazy : Isak, Jhon Duran It's looking more and more like the scouting team had it right all along. Just didn't end up getting their man
  5. Arsenal dropping more points. Chelsea can go above them this weekend
  6. Let's wait and see how this plays out. Seemed like a good gamble : both Estevao and Baez
  7. This was mentioned somewhere this week. Cole is playing like a young KDB in attack - he can do everything. Assists, goals, game-breaking passes like the one for the first goal on Sunday. Losing KDB and Salah did hurt but it's good to get one back on City by signing their boy - who's already looking like a generational signing
  8. I don't see the reason to make a change until Jorgensen is banging on the door. Maresca's messaging has been mostly on-point. Whether it was with the way he talked to the squad in the summer, freezing out Sterling/Chilwell or his choice of words about GK now
  9. Will get to change the personnel though. It is better than going for Southgate or Potter which are the other names I am seeing
  10. Interesting appointment. Amorim was ignored by Chelsea and Liverpool in the summer.
  11. Of course there will be new manager bounce when United play Chelsea
  12. I think you are overplaying this. Every keeper in the league is having trouble with playing out the back - even Raya who is hailed for his passing makes many mistakes in a game. I would rather keep a keeper who makes mistakes but is committed to playing his way out like Sanchez is. This is also why Maresca is happy with him. We could upgrade, sure. But he's not the problem you're making him out to be imo
  13. I had no issue with Sanchez performance. Couldn't do much with either goal. The defense left him for dead for the 2nd He's been pretty solid this season. Nothing exceptional but definitely not the problem in this team. Even in this game, he did play a few really good passes - the one to Sancho in the first half was great.
  14. Interesting. I can see there being a shift in the Arab-American vote towards Trump too. And it will be a fitting reminder if democrats lose due to losing the votes of a community that traditionally votes their way. The dissonance with what's happening in Palestine in the US is tough to digest.
  15. fofana and couch missing Liverpool horrible day
  16. WTF is this ref watching? Yellow for Cucurella?
  17. Hilarious take- He's been the one who's lively today. Have hardly seen Jackson or Sancho or even Palmer relative to his usual self
  18. this is why I'm willing to be patient with Noni
  19. Most teams will stop playing the high line like Brighton did and start setting up deeper and deeper vs us from now Been a good run so far but the real work begins now.
