  1. Can't believe they've prioritized the Conference League fixture. What are the people leading this club even thinking?
  2. Classic Sanchez pass out from the back
  3. Is this about rest for players? This is a Conference League line up when the main target is Top 5. Way too many changes. I can understand the rest for a Palmer or a Colwill here or there
  4. Villa are closer to us than Forest are. I'd be happy with a Forest win here lol
  5. The next four is it : Brentford Ipswich Fulham Everton If we leave ourselves work to do in the last four there will be big trouble
  6. That Brentford equalizer is useful
  7. Not making it to 5th either. Expecting to end up 7th - we are ahead in the table since we've finished many of the easier games and have a hard run-in
  8. it is obviously confusing for JT but the game has changed and defenders can't just defend anymore. in most games they press up to the midfield and are looking for ways to unlock the opposition. You can't have fullbacks like Paulo Ferreira trundling up and down the right now.
  9. We are not making top 4. Time to plan for Enzo sale in the summer to balance the books
  10. Read somewhere on Twitter. They should do Chelsea v ManU - loser gets Sancho at the end of the season. It will be box office and sell out Wembley because both teams will be going for it
  11. Unnecessary moves at the end of the summer window : Felix and Sancho. Added nothing. More work and financial losses to get them out, did not even fit their philosophy of going for youngsters. Only more evidence for the fact that ownership has no idea what its doing
  12. It is not humanly possible to focus on integration of so many players at once. We are headed for another ridiculous summer where our main weaknesses are not addressed but we have a production line of the best rated teenagers
  13. Raphinha and Dembele were major targets in 2022 and have been brilliant this season in their new teams. We ended up signing Sterling that summer 🤦‍♂️ I would be happy if the board signs just 3-4 players this summer : Serious keeper (Diogo Costa?), CB (Murillo?), LW (Nico?) and ST (Gyokeres, Delap?) Weed out the dead weight : Keep, Chilwell, Chalobah, Tosin, Disasi, Sterling, KDH, Sancho, Nkunku and more. Loan Paez and Estevao unless they are super impressive in their first few weeks here and don't need much of an adaptation period.
  14. Not good enough and we can do way better. Odd that we bailed United out when we really didn't have to.
  15. No sign Forest are slowing down. Their defense is actually good - allows them to play a counter attacking football
  16. Newcastle have a far easier run in than Chelsea. Maybe ahead in the table but the advantage can be wiped out quick : as soon as this weekend when we face Arsenal
  17. Caicedo is levels above Connor but I agree selling Connor after he had kept himself fit and had a good season was baffling logic. Would have helped ease the midfield worries we've had this season
  18. really got away with a cleansheet. Sanchez was flapping about for some of the crosses
  19. Thanks to Spurs for taking points off Bournemouth
  20. Might actually win vs Leicester 🥹
  21. there is some nuance. leicester were more open when van Nistelrooy took charge. have changed tactics and are playing low block defensive football.
  22. Injuries are tough but there have been players who've managed to come out of chronic injury problems. I am sure club has also learnt from the last couple of years about managing the squad Found it interesting that Liverpool when they were looking for a new manager valued Slot because his injury record was good. Not sure if Chelsea were even thinking of that when they were searching for a manager - all the talk was about tactics and playing a certain way.
  23. Are we no longer in the conversation for a Diogo Costa or another keeper who's played well at a higher level?
