  1. Yes only in the case of Haaland
  2. Hopping off the Sky bandwagon. They are going to milk this for what its worth - do a whole 'Will he, wont he' when there is no bid/ no movement happening
  3. +1 or even Romano, Fjortoft. Ignoring all of Sky's reporting on this - pretty clear after the way they were discussing the Sancho story last year they haven't got a source at Dortmund.
  4. This month's summer-long saga will be Haaland.
  5. Is he better than them? Club not really looking for bargains this summer
  6. I doubt league is wide open. They got 86 points without a recognised striker. Other teams are a long way away
  7. His best goal at the club is undoubtedly the bicycle vs Atletico. The dribble vs Southampton in the FA Cup Semi which he somehow finished with his right foot was also A great goal.
  8. Nah - I think we have extracted as much as we could from Giroud as a squad player. Best to part ways and sign a younger backup in case Tammy also leaves.
  9. He has gone two full seasons playing almost every game for club and country - shows that Chelsea and England actually don't want to live without Mount even though both teams have many quality alternatives for his position. Can't believe this is still a debate. All the top sides in the world now are packed with workhorses and among workhorses, Mount is one of the better ones in terms of attacking quality.
  10. Romano anyway is not quick on news from English clubs other than Watford (he has some connection to Watford). He usually follows Law, Ornstein etc in reporting English clubs business. He is trying to be this Europe-wide transfer oracle but it is tough for one person to break transfer news in so many countries/leagues even though FR has the best foothold to do so at the moment.
  11. Not necessarily Ndidi but someone of his abilities.
  12. Good one. Unlike in 2011 when we did sign Torres and blocked the route to sign Aguero in the summer
  13. An option for Chelsea if both Tammy and Giroud leave and it is late in the window
  14. Yeah, there is always a case for waiting another year - There are talents that crop up every year but most football fans don't acknowledge this. The opportunity to sign Thiago Silva came up last year for example. Lot more relaxed about the lack of activity this time than in 2015 or 17. This squad is filled with talented players across the pitch who are also mostly hardworkers off the ball. Tuchel's plan of adding 2-3 starters sounds good but if the right option in attack isn't available/too expensive, I am fine waiting this out and doing a year with Havertz as the false 9 than spend loads on Belotti or Andre Silva.
  15. Jorginho, Kova, Kante (minutes managed - starts less vs small teams, starts all important/knockout games) are great midfield options. There is Gilmour to consider since he will likely be pushing for a place in the squad in 2022. I don't see how an 18 year old Camavinga makes sense for us. If anything, a solid screening CDM like Ndidi makes more sense.
  16. Can only dream of Marquinhos. Would give flexibility in midfield and in defence
  17. Should be throwing our hat into this.
  18. Great second half of the season but not overly worried if he chooses to move on
  19. Yes - Raiola parked Haaland at Dortmund for a big move down the line. He will look for another big move in a few years. But the club can't give up all the cards by agreeing to a get-out clause.
  20. Simon Phillips is a troll. And he is quoting Duncan Castles, another troll.
  21. but the links to Traore suggest he's happy with an impact sub player joining there
  22. Seems like they were not keen on it because its not a priority position.
