  1. It is still a gamble when Palmer is 2 years younger without many senior minutes. When there was already Noni, Angelo Gabriel and Mudryk, I think more experienced cover was needed
  2. Also one where Maddison went for 40m, Kudus went for 37m. We have clearly overpaid.
  3. Dont think any country can watch this game
  4. City and Pep don't usually stop players who want to leave. Only exception has been Bernardo Silva in recent years
  5. With the exception of Bernardo Silva, Pep has not stopped players from moving, even when it has been quality players. And like it was mentioned before, his education in a setup like City would be valuable.
  6. I doubt they'll agree to such a figure but for what its worth, Brighton had a 30m bid rejected this summer. Dortmund and West Ham were also interested with figures quoted at a similar range https://www.eurosport.com/football/transfers/2023-2024/cole-palmer-considers-manchester-city-exit-as-west-ham-prepare-for-lucas-paqueta-switch-paper-round_sto9746892/story.shtml
  7. This is experienced for the board.
  8. No chance they agree but among all the attackers mentioned, this guy is the only one I'd consider bidding over 50m
  9. How about a 30m bid for Kai Havertz
  10. Is the most sensible option at this point but with these owners, you never know. I'd wait till 24 and see who becomes available
  11. If this is true he misses just one more league game (NFO H). Looking a lot better than initial reports then
  12. I am okay to roll with this without adding anyone late in the window. Every attacking target mentioned seems to have red flags - Raphinha, Smith Rowe, Barcola, Edwards, Cherki, Torres
  13. Some reports that three French clubs approached and his agents were keen for him to continue his career but the man himself is done.
  14. Marcus Edwards from Sporting is the attacking name mentioned
  15. The kid is seriously good. I think he can challenge Caicedo/Lavia if either slip up Before this Forest move, Porto was looking at him. A good loan could skyrocket his value too
  16. Had a bad feeling about Andre Santos loan to Forest. They're now going for Ndidi
  17. Did seriously well today to hang on. Liverpool have begrudgingly got a good team - only defense is a question mark
  18. Puts our own defeat last weekend in perspective
  19. City winning the league in August this time
  20. Makes me think the Andre Santos loan move is not the best idea.
  21. Early signs are Havertz to Arsenal and Mount to United were both smart flips by the board. Mount is injured to be fair but doesn't look like a 60m midfield asset
  22. United look well off it this season. Could be an opening in the top 4
