  1. I have no clue as to why we have bought so many players for similar positions but I feel it seems to not be helping our players getting any fluidity in their play, we seems a little lost each time we keep changing the pivot and the attacking midfield.
  2. I see a large amount of people calling for a bit more stability in our starting eleven but then we put lineups with changes all over the show, Cole for Bertrand, Azpi for Brana, Mata for Oscar, Torres for Eto, KDB for Hazard (one of the changes I agree with), we never going to gel if we keep swapping the team round so often. I thik Mou should keep a similar side to Wednesday, with only a few changes, Mikel in for Lampard, Ramires in for MVG and KDB in for Hazard. Lets get a bit of a winning roll going.
  3. I still feel that unless Torres leaves no striker will flourish. It seems the pressure of having to decide between him and other strikers looms in the air of Stamford Bridge. Lets hope He is off soon.
  4. I think we all agree continuity is whats needed now. Too many changes. He must stick with a certain spine for the side and lets build around that.
  5. I felt the players didn't know their roles, specifically the ones behind the striker. Oscar, Hazard and Willian kept swapping positions and this was making confusion and narrowing our play. Cole no longer overlaps like he used to and Ivanovic was making great runs at times but we kept playing down the center. I feel we need to keep the roles clear for now, let the players settle down and get a good understanding of each other. In before the lock lol
  6. I am actually hoping for this too but if he messes up it could cost him loads of confidence in the long run.
  7. My question is who is going to play alongside Lampard? I find Ramires very noneffective alongside Lamps. So that leaves MVG and Mikel. Ramires i find is a bit restricted when playing next to Lamps. Mikel is slow in build up and so is Lampard. MVG is young and is unproven for me as of yet.
  8. Yeah Oscar has to start just for that reason. I really hope we do give Mata a chance sometime soon. Tomorrows game wouldn't be the best one to try get Mata some game time as Basel from what I remember press hard.
  9. I have to admit, I love Frank but I didn't want him to start, I find him too slow. Who knows maybe he proves me wrong.
  10. Thanks Meera for putting this up, now I don't need to explain too much, the only thing I would add is he was awarded a penalty before this incident and the reason the player from Peru acted the way he did was due to the fact that Suarez was diving all game.
  11. Did anyone watch Suarez for Uruguay, what a cheat, I cannot stand him he is such a knob and to be honest I wish he left the premier league so I dont have to see his C*ntish face ever again.
  12. Ah yes it was pretty close, I credit those 4 points to Osman and Mata's rather disappointing displays Good luck for the rest of the season mate.
  13. I got 77 points in the first week, not too bad considering I made a few stupid mistakes with my formation. It would have only got me a extra point or so anyways.
  14. Welcome fellow South African. I think you are going to enjoy your time on this forum as its the best by far.
  15. Well I hope that Bale stays at Spurs and we get to compare the two properly this season. Hazards has now had a season in England to try adapt and I think we will see a much better season from him.
  16. Yip, that changes things quite a bit, we would have to offload a striker and it would seem that Ba would have to go. I would prefer Torres to go but that seems almost impossible. A 4-4-2 would be great to see with Rooney and Lukaku, I try not get too excited about transfers until they happen though. It will surely be a great move to get Lukaku as much time in the Premier League early, as he can only get better and better.
  17. Great article, I really hope we give the guy a chance. We have nothing to loose really as his stats cannot be worse than what Torres has offered us over the past few seasons.
  18. I am so glad games are back at "normal" times for me. I dont mind if we dont smash them 5-0 but I would like us to dictate play and keep the ball for a bit. Just a good solid 2-0 win with our defence shutting them out easily.
  19. When we actually decided to pass the ball and move off the ball we looked good. It just didn't happen often enough. MVG was great in defense and struggled a bit going forward.
  20. I watched the Man City game. They played with a pretty strong side and couldn't walk away with a win against Supersport United who finished 6th last season in our Premier Soccer League.
  21. I'm voting Stingray for keeping me entertained during a large part of the off season.
  22. Hell No! I would rather nail my nuts to my knee.
  23. Look I don't want Torres to stay but lets say he does, as fans all we can do is support the clubs decision to keep him, I said that I don't think I could watch another season of the shit he serves up on the pitch but in the end I am watching for Chelsea and I hope we can find a balance. What would everyone's reaction be if Jose decides to use Torres as the Main striker next season?
