I think RDM could have brought on Piazon instead of Paulo but oh well at least Hutchinson started.
-
I was very impressed with RDM's tactics. He picked a young side and more importantly gave Lukaku and Hutchinson their first start.Plus he also showed faith in Turnbull by giving him a start. Most managers would have dropped him after the Liverpool game but not RDM.This man believes in his players and allows everyone in the team to contribute.I am glad AVB got him here.
-
He should go out on loan to Stoke because it'd be the perfect club for him.Like Stoke,we depend a lot on our physical dominance and so having him play in the same kind of style will definitely develop him significantly. It will be great to have another forward who won't expect much from his team mates and instead will create his own chances and for others.
-
yup definitely the answer to our managerial longevity.
-
Best solution is to give the manager the full responsibility and let him the decide the players he wants.
-
If you ask me I think KDB a better all round player than Marin. The link up between KDB and Mata will be very interesting as both have similar style of play.As for Hulk,I pray for him to come here but only for under 30m.The trio combination of Mata,Hulk and KDB will allow Torres to score plenty next season and as a result help us contend for titles.

Credit to RDM for picking a young team.
-
What a season!! Guess City deserved it.
-
Are they even any Blackburn fans at Stamford Bridge?
-
I hope Kakuta stays at Chelsea and gets the chance to start few games.
-
don't forget we have KDB and Marko.
-
i think we should keep Bosingwa as a back up for the right back position and play him as few games as possible.By signing a contract extension,we'll be able to get some kind of money for him and have not a reliable but experienced right back.He could be the Paulo Ferriera of next season.
-
Well for the center back position,we shouldn't have much problems in that area.At the moment we have 4 world class center backs(Terry,Luiz,Cahill and Ivanovic) then we have many potential names in the mix as well,so rightly the center back area is covered so there won't be any need of buying another center back even if Iva leaves. Regardless of any transfer,we need a reliable right back and there aren't many choices in the market.Since Iva is versatile,he can play as an effective right back as well.So if we do let Iva leave, well be a right back short and not a center back because of the many options we have. There is only one solution and that is to get either Van der Wiel or Cesar and keep Bosingwa as a back up which could be a very risky move so there are a lot of things to consider or we could just simply forget about selling him this summer and hope for a deal of similar figures in the future.
-
Not only will he be a valuable part of the team,he"ll also bring in money with merchandise and stuff, perhaps possibly more than the F1 deal.

Nightmare*

The club is asking for 7m,I say get him for 20m.The man is a class player and we need someone like him.
-
If Iva wants to go to Madrid,I wouldn't stop him.Yes,hes been an important of the team for many seasons but there will come a time, when he will leave and that won't be a 15m+ transfer. His departure could help the likes of Hutchinson and Bruma to get some regular first team action but then there is the right back issue. So its really a difficult choice.I know all of you want him to stay but we must sell the players at the right time in order to make some kind of profit and not have a bunch of 30+ age players. Iva has achieved a lot in Chelsea colors and a new adventure at Madrid wouldn't be a bad idea at all for both him and the club.

We HAVE to get Kagawa by any means possible.Maybe do another Mikel kinda transfer. -
Okay,so even if RDM does get the job permanently(temporary in Chelsea terms) I am sure he'll get sacked after a year. The reason being Pep Guardiola,Roman will do everything in his power to make sure he comes to Chelsea and he won't care how well we're doing under RDM. The man wants us to play beautiful football and who better to have then the philosopher himself.Frankly it doesn't matter who is here next season because there is a high probability of the man getting sacked anyways.Maybe Chelsea will stick with RDM or they may start a new pension scheme for Fabio, who realistically may be in the managerial business for another 1 year. The managerial scene at this club is just embarrassing and I doubt there will ever be manager longevity at this club.I guess managers will only come here for the severance package now.

I want Danny to play center forward and Torres as a winger.
-
Could be a great buy for under 9m but anything more than would be just a waste.
-
Realistically,I don't see Chelsea keeping RDM on a permanent basis. As much as I want him to stay,I just don't see it happening. The board want a high profile manager, who can attract top players and can control players effectively. They want a manager who won't have any problem of getting rid of players and more importantly want an experienced manager.I can't see RDM playing the Bad Cop routine, especially with the experienced players. Now if Chelsea do keep RDM,what will happen to him when the results don't go our way. Will he get sacked immediately and will we appoint another interim manger?I think the Board knows that poor results will be inevitable and it will be better to part ways with RDM now then later. The board appointed RDM as an interim manager because they were looking for suitable candidates.Benitez was available but the fans rightly disapproval made it clear that they had to look for other candidates but then they realized that the performances have improved significantly under RDM and maybe perhaps they should recruit later.Overcoming the Napoli deficit delayed the decision but now with many top managers available, the board will look to resume what they had planned.
