Considering what happened in the past with us, players not happy with the manager is nothing new. But what's the reason in this case? We were still fine last season and things started to go wrong since pre-season started. Something must have happened back then or during the off-season.

Not sure being pragmatic helps these days when you have people like Ivanovic in defence and playing like he has been. It's almost as if the players have become satisfied after winning the title last season. All that hunger, desire, determination, enthusiasm etc have gone out of the window.

Mourinho is at fault for constantly picking the same underperforming players week in week out but he's not entirely to be blamed. It's not helping us at all when people like Ivanovic are putting in the same poor performance every week and aren't doing anything to fix their errors and get back to their best. The players are not taking responsibility for their performances and it's like they're just taking the easy way out by hiding behind Mourinho, knowing all the focus will be on him and not them.

To be honest, we should forget about catching City and focus on getting into the top 4...for the time being anyway. Finishing outside the Champions League places would be really bad, arguably even worse than not winning the title.

Oscar isn't going to turn us into a world beater or magically solve our problems but his return can only be good news for us. Can't do any worse than the others/team in general.

But those DIFFERENT PLAYERS consist of players that many have moaned about (Mikel, Ramires etc) because they aren't that good. Apart from the defence and forward departments, we don't exactly have that many options in midfield. It really is a tricky situation.

15 minutes seem a lot. We'll be lucky if he even gets 5 minutes on the pitch! I really don't get what is Mourinho's deal with Remy this season. We're talking about a guy who managed to score 7 league goals and put in reliable performances despite limited amount of game time last season and 3 of those goals (vs Man City, Hull and Stoke) were crucial in helping us to win the title. Yet for some unknown reason, he's been tossed aside for a new toy in Flopcao, who has hardly done anything since he's been here. It feels as though Mourinho is trying to prove something with Flopcao and his treatment of Remy and squad management in general have been nothing short of pathetic. It alienates players and doesn't create a competitive environment for them to get better.

Don't be surprised if Mourinho somehow manages to persuade the board to give him one.

Costa can create chances for himself as he's proved that last season. But even the best strikers can't do everything by themselves, especially when they are going through a rough period.
