Are you Hazard in disguise? Hazard keeps telling us that he might go to Madrid or he might stay and you keep telling us we should be prepared to see him leave every time.

That is true but IIRC, Ronaldo didn't remind everyone like every other week that he wanted to go to Madrid, no? We have known for years that Hazard fancies Real but does he need to remind us so many times? It's bad/worrying enough to see your best player want to go elsewhere but I don't think we need to get reminded about it so often and be seen like a second grade club compared to the other one!

Being professional is one thing but as a fan, I don't think it sits well at all to see your star player constantly talk about moving elsewhere. Have seen fans almost granted Hazard a free pass with his constant flirtation with Real. If this was any other player, he would have been criticized till no end, wouldn't he? Courtois, who was and is still a twat, got hammered for saying pretty much the same things as Hazard, no?

Would like to think they will but think at the end of the day, it comes down to what Hazard wants more.

Bu this has never been about money. Hazard has never mentioned or hinted that he wants more money than the others. It's all about his emotional desire. If we offer him 500k and Real Madrid come calling at the same time, I am certain that he would choose the latter option.

Have I missed something? Why do people keep on saying we should offer Hazard 400k (or more)? Since when this became about the wages?!

Hazard should be fortunate that he is Hazard. Doubt any other player would get away scot-free as much as he has for constantly talking about wanting to leave for another club. Regarding Hazard's comments yesterday, it shouldn't be ignored that Neymar or Mbappe could still be a factor in all of this. The former, especially, is said to be Real's No.1 target and if he continues to be in the shadow of Mbappe, he might well be itching for the move come next summer and I don't think Real have the money to buy both players. OR if Mbappe suddenly feels he's getting too big for PSG/Ligue 1, he might well fancy a move to Real and given his young age, it would be a beneficial long term move for Real as compared to Neymar/Hazard.

Think you're missing the point if you think this is about money.

To be honest, he's said the same thing he's said a thousand times - I want to leave but I may also stay. Guess nothing is certain for sure till he signs a bloody contract, be it in London or Madrid.

But Conte's football is not quite the same as Sarri's, is it? Plus, though we have won most games this season, we have also struggled to break down defensive sides and given away some clear cut chances to opponents in recent games. If we don't tighten things up and do better in smashing buses down, you suspect Mourinho might quietly fancy this, even more so when there is a chance to end our unbeaten start to the season.

Whose bloody idea was it to schedule this game for lunchtime kick off immediately after the international break?! This is a trap game, IMO. Form guide will say we should win this comfortably but it's Mourinho, it's Man United, it's at the Bridge and it's Mourinho against a possession based side. We know how he will approach this game and we gotta be careful to not lose possession carelessly and not be caught on the break. Otherwise, this could become like the Chelsea v Arsenal games of yesteryear.

My point is banking on something to come based on dodgy evidence is not the way to go about building the team.

He has shown glimpses of what he can do with the ball but I don't think he's shown enough quality with it. Plus, banking him being a late bloomer is risky, isn't it? It's like fans hoping Torres would eventually come good all those years ago!
