I really don't know what to make of this situation. In a normal situation, I'd say "SELL HIM!". He's a time bomb in that defence and we can't afford any defensive liability. But we are not in a normal situation. We have a transfer ban, the transfer window closes in less than 24 hours and going into the season with Rudiger, Christensen, Zouma and Tomori as our CB options is HIGHLY RISKY! And I'm always against the idea of "helping" out a direct rival by selling them a player, regardless of whether they are good or not. Just feeling "WTF?!" and confused over this. On the funny side of things, would love to see Luiz play with Mustafi in that Arsenal backline. High comedy value right there!

Doesn't matter if you're local or not, IMO. Loyalty comes from the person's character.

When L'Equipe first reported it, I thought it was BS but then the English media picked up on it as well and it doesn't feel BS at this point.

Juventus are making no sense in this transfer window...

The only thing more annoying is people posting "WHY HASN'T HE SIGNED YET?!" or something along those lines for the umpteenth time! The last few pages of this thread but have been nothing but that. How about we wait and see what happens?!

Are we talking about Cahill here or Zouma? I'm not convinced by Zouma either and think he's a bit of disaster waiting to happen, especially when paired with Luiz.

Last we heard - which was what, last week? - is that he will sign or has agreed etc. Nothing has been reported to suggest otherwise and does it not suggest anything that the reported Bayern's interest has cooled down? All the talk has been them going after Sane recently. Looks like he will sign, just a matter of when rather than if.

He's a lot quicker and arguably more mobile than Cahill at the very least.

Cahill's ability on the ball is average at best and with Everton and Wolves playing a more progressive style, he's not going to suit their defence or be first choice.

Panicking/Freaking Out seems to be a trend this summer...

They would probably better off spending that on several players as opposed to spending a large sum of that on one player.

Attempting to swap Dybala for Lukaku and now Cancelo for Danilo? Juventus are making some weird moves for players that don't seem to fit Sarri's style at all. That Dybala-Lukaku swap attempt is Juventus trying to get an expensive player Dybala off the books and screw Conte up by getting Lukaku, knowing Inter can pose a domestic challenge to them.
