  1. Giroud already in Milan... Milan are gonna have two strikers with the combined age of 73...
  2. As @Tomo said before, it's almost comical that people are rather closed minded when it comes to expecting/seeing our players improving. This is a young team with room for improvement, not an ageing team. Why do people always seem more positive when it comes to other teams rather than ours? And it's always Arsenal with you, isn't it? 🙄
  3. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/57853877 According to BBC, Guardiola has been monitoring the Haaland situation and Dortmund are gonna dig their heels in by rejecting any offers for Haaland, especially after already losing Sancho this summer.
  4. He's an Arsenal fan. No, nothing specific to Haaland. Matt Law just said we have explored whether Dortmund are interested in Abraham (seems like they aren't) and we are also interested in Lukaku and Kane.
  5. - Club would preferably like to find a buyer for Abraham, who they value at £40million, before committing to a big-money bid for one of their main striker targets. - Arsenal likely to need to sell players to get near Chelsea's asking price.
  6. Scenes if we raise the money to go buy Rice instead...
  7. Amazon should do an All-or-Nothing documentary on Real Madrid or Perez...
  8. @King Kante since you name checked Newcastle as a possible buyer for Abraham previously...
  9. Why do people seemingly assume that just because we won the Champions League and we finished in the Top 4, we have all that money to spend on transfers? I mean, it's not news that the club still have other costs to bear and just like any other club, we are also impacted financially due to the pandemic. On top of that, think the club also want to strengthen other areas and hence come the conundrum - do we bomb what essentially would be our entire transfer budget on one player (transfer fee + agent fees + wages etc) or do we spend that money on a few players instead in those other areas etc? The club's interest on Haaland is not a secret at this point but think it has also been partly overplayed, overdramatized (whatever the right word is) by the media. The media, the journalists seem to think Roman has a bottomless pit of money going by some of the reports.
  10. Bate and Livramento have been made to train with the youth team apparently. I can't tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
  11. Well, here's your Romano update aka non-update...
  12. Sky are backtracking now. 🤣
  13. In the same article, Palace are also looking to get Gallagher but on loan instead.
  14. I meant valuing the player for XXX amount and then offer the remaining in cash. I mean, if the club could say 100 million immediately, I highly doubt the remaining 50 million is a problem. Am sure the club would try to get Dortmund to lower their price.
  15. His move to Arsenal has sure gone down very well...
  16. Even if that story was true, I doubt the club even offered that amount of cash to start with.
  17. Well, this has come out of the blue...
  18. That's assuming it's even true considering it's Sky... The Sky report said we offered one or the other, not both. EDIT: England's Sky said Abraham OR CHO while Germany's Sky said both. Go figure...
  19. The update is that there is no update. Fjortoft was on Romano's show and all he apparently said was basically what we already know for ages - the club are interested in Haaland but there's no agreement etc. all comes down to whether the club can put in a bid big enough to make Dortmund sell him.
