  1. NGL, feeling fucking nervous about this game - 10x more than any other fixture this season!
  2. Back on the injury list? Up until that. Got an ankle injury, not sure how serious.
  3. Looks like Hazard has found his form in Madrid...
  4. Chelsea 0-1 West Ham PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2019/20 Premier League Match 14 30th November, Saturday 2019 Stamford Bridge 15:00 Kick Off (UK time)
  5. Lampard said "it's a must not lose" game in his presser, which seems to suggest that he might take a pragmatic approach. Could see the 4-3-3 you suggest there.
  6. Meant nothing malicious about that. I don't expect Kante to score many goals, IMO. Any goal scored by him is a bonus.
  7. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/11/26/chelsea-arrive-in-valencia-ahead-of-crucial-champions-league-out Barkley, Alonso, Rudiger and CHO didn't travel with the squad to Valencia. All left at home.
  8. Just the 3 goals in 677 minutes (8 appearances) this season. All but one have been starts.
  9. Barkley could be dropped apparently due to his off the field shenanigan last week.
  10. Curious, how have the German media reacted to Sancho over all of this? Negative? Mixed reactions?
  11. Feeling very nervous and afraid of this match because of the permutations/possible repercussion if we don’t pick up a result here. 😰
  12. Both proactive and pragmatic (as long as you don’t just sit back entirely and defend for 0-0) approaches have their merits (and risks) against Guardiola’s teams TBH. You’ve already pointed out Klopp’s proactive style and our pragmatic style - aka defend and counter attack approach - has gotten results and/or has worked against his teams. 4 times against Barcelona, 1 once against Bayern, 4 times against City. It took him until his 8th game against us to finally get a win and you always need a bit of luck when facing Guardiola.
  13. But is that not a fact? An experienced player like Jorginho should know better than to force a pass into traffic and dive in on a challenge. Said it previously, as great as Jorginho is against the smaller teams, he really hasn’t stamped his mark against the big teams and His defensive flaws become a huge problem.
  14. It's getting a bit annoying that we haven't got a result against the big teams this season even though our performances in general have been better than the results suggest. We have been left to rue stupid defensive errors after every game against those big sides. On one hand, anyone can lose to Liverpool and Man City but on the other hand, we should have done better against them. Gave away dumb goals in the league encounters. Even Lampard started to look exasperated to talk about the "little details", "small margins" etc being the decisive factor again at the weekend. The MAJOR blot in the copybook is losing to Man United TWICE! Okay, one was in the League Cup which we didn't really care about but it's still frustrating. And of course, our next big 6 opponent is Mourinho's Spurs...what could go wrong?
  15. He had the chance to prevent the goal after giving the ball away but what did he do? Dived in foolishly and De Bruyne made him look like a fool and scored (albeit with a deflection). I expect better from one of the more experienced players in the squad and the vice-captain, who has been praised to the heavens this season! It's maddening how the experienced players are the ones making the more fatal mistakes in these games this season!
