Problem is we just don't control games enough, even with Jorginho and Kovacic in midfield. I know we're more exciting under Lampard but a bit Sarriball or even Mourinhoball would be nice in games like this. Mourinho was by no means wrong at all with what he said about us in big games.

At this moment, just pray that we win first. All our CL games have been bonkers this season.

VAR has been kind to us in Europe.

The fact we are relying on Kante to "create" is beyond worrying. It's like watching Sarriball all over again with that midfield 3!

They offer almost next to nothing going forward. We'll occasionally see Kovacic dribbling forward or Kante bursting forward but ultimately, it happens only sporadically and not consistent. Kovacic and Jorginho in a 3 are pretty much doing the same job. We're practically relying on Pulisic/Abraham to do something in attack (less said about Willian, the better). Mount needed!

The midfield 3 of Jorginho/Kante/Kovacic is just painful to watch.

Okay, we've got a Kepa problem...

It's just 2 additional fixtures really. Otherwise, playing Thursday-Sunday is arguably more of the issue.

Same here and he actually started the season well but got an injury and has suddenly 'disappeared'.

He's setting an example of him & Giroud. Both will probably be gone come Jan. But we're like overplaying Pulisic and especially Willian. Hopefully, CHO will be back for West Ham or Villa.
