  1. Prepare for hell that is the 2020/21 Premier League season...
  2. You forgot to mention the maniac that is Diego Costa. To be fair, the situation with Pedro and Fabregas was not as bad as the other. With Pedro, it was a classic case of a player taking time to settle into a new league etc while with Fabregas, it was a case of a player trying to prove the manager and force their way back in. With Torres, Kepa and Morata, things just got really shit for them and I some times wonder if the other players in the team and/or manager have tried to speak with them etc because like in Kepa's case, there seems to be no connection between him and the defenders and everything just falls apart in matches. Like do they talk about doing this, doing that, making sure A does this, B does that etc.
  3. To be fair, while Kepa was not outstanding to begin with, I don't think the club could have foreseen him losing his confidence so badly till the point he is struggling to even do the basic stuff. At this point, it is best for everyone that he goes somewhere to regain his confidence and he would be decent for one of the lesser sides.
  4. How about asking Azpi to teach Jorginho how to tackle without getting a yellow card?
  5. Just copy and paste the tweet link into the post box.
  6. Fabrizio Romano might have just ended Nicolo Schira...
  7. Assuming the deal does go through (FFS!), I guess there would be some sort of compromise agreed between the two parties.
  8. Maybe Willian would be told that he would not play often next season and he still accepts the new deal? And maybe Lampard can sort of tame him? I mean, despite all the chopping and changing and the struggles with some players this season, Lampard hasn't fallen out with anyone. Not with Giroud when he was seemingly out of favor earlier this season or Kepa after his mistakes or anyone else in that category. But putting this aside for a moment, not sure who to believe on this TBH. ESPN and Sky Sports said that we are nearing a new deal with Willian but Matt Law didn't mention it or anything in his transfer piece today and Guardian said it is very likely that he will leave after the season. So...
  9. Yup, it is true. https://www.transfermarkt.com/cesar-azpilicueta/leistungsdaten/spieler/57500 He has only 4 yellow cards all season - 1 in PL, 1 in Super Cup and 2 in Champions League.
  10. And not to mention, the abuse players get on social media. People like to think or treat footballers (or other athletes) like they are different when at the end of the day, they are just humans like the rest of us. No one should get abused by others.
  11. James Maddison set to sign a new 4-year deal at Leicester apparently.
  12. Okay, that is an exaggeration but the League Cup certainly presents clubs with problems next season because of the compressed nature of it. There are already reports, for examples, clubs playing in Europe are intending to play the kids in the competition.
  13. Arsenal were good defensively against Man City but so did we when we played them in the league. Furthermore, we all know Arsenal and us can unreliable defensively. So, it's kind of a toss-up on which side will show up in the final. If we are to win this, we basically need to do what we did against United and Wolves - don't do anything silly, pick the moments to attack (and hopefully score) and then shithouse our way to a win. Might not be pretty but when you get to a final, it's all about winning.
  14. Now, we have video of him training...
  15. Matt Law on the Kepa & GK situation... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/07/27/chelsea-talks-withbayer-leverkusen-fee-midfielder-kai-havertz/
