  1. So, Inter finished 2nd in Serie A and then, Conte went and moaned... https://www.football-italia.net/156686/conte-no-protection-inter
  2. But but Mount is Lampard's....oh never mind.
  3. If we're lucky, he might be the only one...
  4. Forgot about the suspensions. Do we even still have a team for next week? Might have more muscle injuries coming with a free week to come!
  5. Another thing that I'd maybe point out is that Lampard needs to decide what he wants to do with the youth players. He played them right up until lockdown but since then, he's played them less and suddenly relied on the more experienced players. It hasn't exactly turned out bad for us but it's almost like a change of direction all of a sudden when he appeared to sacrifice long term gains for short term gains.
  6. Is this inside info again or what? Apparently, he was standing without crutches at the end of the game yesterday. So maybe it's not too bad?
  7. Probably because he has that Ozil-ness about him, if we can call it that, where he looks like he's just playing at his own pace and looks disinterested.
  8. I have given up on being given hope by Chelsea. They always disappoint when you start to hope or expect something.
  9. Setting up to play the high line against Arsenal was silly. Unless we press them, we needed to drop off whenever they get on the ball or just defend deeper. Instead, we did neither and repeatedly got caught out by simple route one football, which somehow got Arteta praised by journalists for this supposedly tactical masterclass.
  10. I'd expect most on this forum for starters. Just for the laughs, TBH.
  11. Arjen Robben would like to say 'hi'. (Obviously hope Pulisic doesn't become like Robben in regards to injury...)
  12. One year into his regime and people are still reading so much into Lampard's pressers, especially post-match. Changes are inevitable, yesterday's match makes no difference. Lampard is like a broken record these days whenever we lose a game. He talks about this problem, that problem and yet for example, he had chances - during drinks break and HT - to sort things out or change things around but nothing happened yesterday. The back 3 didn't work and has never worked against Arsenal and yet, he started with it and stuck with it.
  13. ๐Ÿ‘† Understandable given his age but his lack of pace and mobility hurts us so much when we try to build up play.
  14. The hamstring injury must be pretty bad for Azpi to end up in tears. When I think about it, can't believe 2 of my current favorite Chelsea players ended up with the same injury in the same game in a cup final that we lost. FUCK THIS SHIT! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  15. Became the youngest scorer in an FA Cup final since Cristiano Ronaldo. Became the first American to score in an FA Cup final (hardly a surprise). Scored a great goal. And then picked up a hamstring injury. Seriously...FUCK THIS SHIT MAN! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  16. Pretty sure they get demoted to a lower league if they have a bad game etc. But what is the point overall? If they are shit, they will still be shit.
  17. Lampard has to stop with the back 3 nonsense next season. It is fine if he plays that for specific games but he seems to have tendency to think 'oh, it worked in this game. so, let's use it for the next one too' even though the formation was used for a specific opponent. Things have always gone south in subsequent games when he has done that. Needs to bin that idea and stick with his overall plan!
  18. Had our defenders defended as well as or Lampard coached the team to defend as well as you defend Lampard here, we might have ended up winning a trophy. Azpilicueta, Tomori, Alonso and IIRC, Kovacic are just few other players - other than Kante and Pulisic - to have suffered muscle injuries at one point or another this season. That is all I'll say... (and) Or maybe we just had managers with coaches who know how to condition the players etc. Mourinho had Rui Faria for example. Heck, we even have Eva Carneiro - although her role was different - to treat players' injury. There is a reason why our injury record over the years have been good and it's not all down to the players because we all know athletes can get injured easily if they are not conditioned or trained properly. And you should know it since you sound like you have experience in this department.
