As much as Oscar has done alright so far, think the media and some of us all have a right to question Mourinho about his decisions. It's not disrespecting Oscar. Only normal for us to question Jose when Mata has not only been the fans' POTY but also the players' POTY last season, been absolutely crucial to us on the pitch for the past 2 seasons and has done more than Oscar up till this point. If you want to talk about the media and their case on this issue, would say it's absolutely hilarious that for the past 2 seasons, they have hardly ever acknowledge Mata's contribution and performances for us in the public. But now that this has happened, they are wanking all over him.

Was hoping for Arsenal and Spurs to lose and a draw in Manchester derby. Instead, Arsenal, Spurs and 1 Manchester team won. Typical! And ugh at Spurs scoring that last minute winner! :banghead:

Have found him to be contradicting really. He said Mata hasn't been playing well, needs to work harder and find that consistency. But yet at the same time, he continues to play Cole, Lampard, Hazard etc when they haven't exactly been doing all those things Mourinho asked Mata to do. And just like before the match today, said he rotated the midfield to keep things fresh after the tough game in midweek but continues to play Hazard when he has been struggling a bit of late.

Sunderland's next 6 league games - Liverpool(H), Man United(H), Swansea(A), Newcastle(H), Hull(A) and Man City(H). Ouch! Will be surprised if Di Canio isn't a goner soon.

If we are to put in crosses, it should be low ones and delivered in quickly behind the opposition defence before they get too deep to cut those out OR cut backs to someone in the box. Otherwise, high crosses are absolutely pointless. Only perhaps useful if we play Ba upfront.
