  1. He's probably try to do it with his left foot but my point earlier was he should set himself up and just kick it with his right.
  2. He could have just set himself up to boot it upfield, which eventually he had to, when he got the back pass. You're running the risk when you have someone as persistent as Hernandez closing down the ball.
  3. Hmmm, looks as if Tim Sherwood has wised up a little bit. Played only with 1 striker yesterday in a 4-2-3-1 I believe against a passing side like Swansea. Hope he continues with it against City next as otherwise, it will only make life very easy for them to walkover Spurs.
  4. Grade C+ for you all lot! Then, how about showing your excellent creativity with a caption?
  5. Quite a strange game this yesterday. Didn't play well at all and yet scored 3 goals out of nowhere, thanks to United's shambolic defending. It was almost like that home game under AVB where we went 3-0 up out of the blue though this time, there is no Howard Webb to give 2 'ghost' penalties! Defensively, we were quite shaky with some players, surprisingly, looked off the pace and switched off when tracking back. The number of times we got overloaded in the wide areas and found ourselves in dangerous situations because of the cutbacks was ridiculous. That Hernandez goal from a cutback was one waiting to happen (how on earth does he always score against us?!). Fortunately for us, there is no Van Persie and/or Rooney and United seem adamant in passing rather shooting it having found themselves in acres of space inside the penalty box on more than one occasion. Offensively, we were quite average as well. Passing was off and didn't take enough advantage when we countered especially when United looked horrible during the transitions. The goals aside, we didn't create anything of note with just some shots from distance and that overhead kick chance from Oscar. Luckily, we were clinical and made the most of our chances inside the box when it did arrive.
  6. RDM spoke his time managing us on 'Goals on Sunday' yesterday.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k59b4FAslQQ
  7. Mourinho: I defend football in this country because I am more English than some English people
  8. Yeah, doesn't look to be anything serious judging by everyone's reaction there but still wondering, what's that all about.
  9. Goodness knows what exactly is going on here between him and Ba..
  10. Oh gawd. Luiz was back to being a loose cannon again yesterday and bloody hell, nearly had an heart attack watching him running around like a headless chicken trying to put challenges in. That challenge on Valencia which led to his yellow card was rather stupid and unnecessary as he wasn't even going anywhere! I'm just surprised that the second yellow didn't come since he was mindlessly charging about and even Mourinho spent much of the first half screaming at Luiz to stay in position..
  11. What's hilarious about his selection yesterday was many on Twitter went mad that Mourinho selected him over Torres, having scored in previous 2 league games, and then all went quiet about once Eto'o got those goals. The second goal was particularly quality. A typical striker/poacher like goal.
  12. Really shocked to see him start yesterday. It's either Mourinho took a risk or was just trolling everyone when he said Ivanovic just started training on Friday. If it's the former, then I think it speaks volume of how much Mourinho thinks of Cole at this point especially when Ivanovic didn't look 100% fit at all. Not even an excuse to begin with. The fact he has played at RB for ages now and yet can't even put in a proper consistently is mind boggling. And this is made worse when you consider the number of quality crosses he delivered in the 2009/10 season yet hardly one is seen these days!
  13. Cech really took the piss yesterday after he tried to be too clever with that back pass. It was so freaking unnecessary and luckily nothing happened from it. Mourinho's reaction to it says it all.. And after the game, Mourinho said this..
  14. This whole thing about Mata doesn't track back or defend is seriously getting old, typical and cliche. Ever since he was dropped, if you like, at the beginning of the season and basically told he's not up to scratch defensively, Mata has worked hard every time he plays in the subsequent games. The only difference and reason why Mourinho has preferred Hazard, Oscar, Willian etc over Mata is because the latter doesn't quite have the same tenacity, aggressiveness and energy level when defending and pressing as well as that pace to counter when the ball is turned over in our advantage.
  15. I would imgaine in the next 2 (home) games against Stoke and West Ham especially the former.
  16. Yup, will be shown live on ITV.
  17. I see there has been a small petty fight here. Glad you guys have settled it yourself and amicably too but please next time, just agree to disagree if you have different views. Don't need to disrespect one another, aye?
