Have no problem with the color itself of the away kit but why oh why must they include the collar?! Since it's just a small modification from the 08/09 season away kit, it would probably be better off just reuse that kit again.

I do seem to remember that we had all our MFs - Matic, Ramires, Lampard and Mikel - fit and available at certain points during the second half of the season but yet, Mourinho played Luiz in the pivot as well and he's now even praising him for having the ability to play in midfield! It just kinda feels silly that he said he won't play Luiz in midfield and the next thing we know, he does just that whether intentionally or enforced.

Regarding Mourinho and Luiz, just find it funny that after the former said he won't play a defender in midfield, he goes and do that with Luiz. At times, it was enforced on Mourinho to do so but there were also times he made that decision despite having choices and not to mention, he also did the same with Azpi against Atletico Madrid...

I guess that time has come to say goodbye. Thank you Ash. Thank you for everything. It was a pleasure to have watched you own that LB spot for so many years and putting in consistent performances week in week out that few can match. You will be missed and so would your commitment, passion, determination and drive to succeed (and not to mention, those massive goal line clearances!).
-
Arsenal fans would definitely not like it even more!

I know we are in need of a proper LB that can defend as well as attack but seriously?!

I don't disagree with that but in Van Gaal, they at least have an experienced manager with pedigree and track record that can get United back into the Top 4. It's not like they hired another David Moyes.
-
One would like to think or hope that Arsenal's luck finally run out and finish outside the Top 4! Regarding Van Gaal's appointment, think this would mean United are guaranteed to finish in the Top 4 and could well get back to challenging for the title, like Liverpool this season, given they have no European games to contend with. It will also be interesting how Mourinho 'plays' with Van Gaal, especially when the title race heats up, since they are pretty close and have a massive respect for one another.
