Of course. There is nothing better than to bring Mata into the discussion when it has nothing to do with him but Oscar and ONLY Oscar. Seems as though when people can't back up Oscar properly, they'll bring Mata into the debate just to 'advertise' how great Oscar is.

More of the first point really. This thread is basically to discuss general things about us and the Premier League, like the examples Choo Choo pointed out above. And also to prevent multiple threads being created talking about similar things.

Not disputing your point here and maybe it's just my mind that has gone to pots but I don't really recall those two winning a lot of penalties last season or even the season before that.

Can't say I felt pleased about Oscar getting the No.8 shirt. Hasn't really done anything special on a consistent basis to justify the change in shirt number. As mentioned in the other thread, first he got the 11, now 8 and what's next then? 26 or even 25??

Like I said before, unless Atletico are preparing to pay crazy money like maybe 35m and above, it's stupid to even sell him especially with only less than 3 weeks to go before the transfer market closes and 4 days before our first game. And if we do sell, who are we even gonna get to replace him?

Good performance. Good win. Got the clean sheet. 7 wins out of 10 pre-season games. Decent. Bring on Burnley! On the other hand, Real Sociedad were somewhat disappointing. Expected more.
