  1. You didn't really point that out...but never mind. It was only the first half or first 25-30 minutes or so. Otherwise, we pretty much controlled the game both offensively and defensively.
  2. I seriously don't recall it at all. When was that? To be fair, it took him until that 5-3 debacle to drop Cahill. Had the result been different, doubt he would have done it. As for Ivanovic, well, not expecting that change any time soon. Has made so errors this season and yet not once dropped to the bench for an extended period of time. Moreover, Mourinho likes to have 3 tall defenders or CBs in the back 4.

  6. We saw those performances last season and in the current one. I have no problem if people want to criticize when there are legitimate reasons to do so but for the game today? It's nonsensical. If we were in City's position, then I would most likely agree with the criticism but since we are not, I find it as though people are just moaning for the sake of moaning, without looking at the bigger picture and the circumstances. We played 120 minutes of football on Tuesday, the players were tired and we have some out injured and suspended. It's only natural that we played poorly and Mourinho had to decide what's best and how to set us up to get a result. It's all about game management.
  7. That's only this season. If you look at the bigger picture, over the last 5-6 years, how many points have Arsenal taken against the big boys? How many times have they suffered embarrassing defeats?
  8. Sometimes I just wonder if some of you lots here want Wenger to be our manager, just go gung-ho in basically every match regardless of the circumstances.
  9. Maybe so but one would at least expect him to be stronger on the ball rather than getting pushed off so easily.
  10. Thought Remy was pretty average against City and kept on losing the ball rather cheaply. Took his goal well though, from the only service he got in the entire game.
  11. Ivanovic must have appointed Aguero as the captain in his Fantasy League team. Gave the ball to him like 2-3 times in dangerous areas in the first half.
  12. Another masterclass (given he's only 20) defensive performance. Cahill must be really REALLY worried right now.
  13. One of our bogey grounds in the Premier League. Mourinho hasn't won at Villa Park in 5 visits - D3 L2. Uh oh.

  16. The players were tired. Squad depleted. Poor performance overall. Gladly take the point and run. Still 5 points clear. Manchester City have more to answer for given they had a week to prepare and all but two of their players available and they didn't even look like going on the offensive.
  17. The linesman may have messed up that throw-in call but it doesn't excuse the poor defending from us for Silva's goal. Pathetic.
  18. This was after the City game last weekend and when asked who would he like to face next in the FA Cup, Bamford said Arsenal at the Emirates.
  19. If we do that, we would probably won't get punished by the UEFA but FA instead. They'll send us to the Championship and take away the PL titles from us...
  20. And/or it could be because of this... Ooooh. Chill, Barbara. Was just asking politely..
