  1. Perhaps so but Mills just is extremely BS and f*cking annoying. He plays the role of providing the analysis, insight etc on commentary and yet he speaks like every second, every minute! Think I'll rather take those you mentioned over him to be the match commentator.

  4. Party pooper? Nooo. Just trying to prepare for all possibilities. After all, it's not like we don't have a record of making life difficult for ourselves.
  5. Knowing us, we would probably screw this up and drag this longer than it should be..
  6. Can I just say Danny Mills is probably the worst commentator ever to exist? Always pretending to be knowledgeable, constantly repeating the same points over and over again and forever slagging off one of the two teams. Farcical.
  7. Chelsea and Roman Abramovich reach new serenity with José Mourinho
  8. How opportunistic... Anyway, I said Newcastle might just be safe not because of their own ability but because of other teams' run-in, which even you have to admit it's tough, and whether they can pick up enough points. Obviously with Sunderland winning (surprisingly), Newcastle are in big BIG trouble now. At this point, one would probably tip them for relegation instead of Sunderland.
  9. Can agree about Park Ji Sung but O'Shea and Brown were rarely used? They played more often than you think. As for the games you picked out there, isn't it convenient to select those games? Like Stats mentioned above, anyone can look out of their depth against Bayern or Barcelona and Milner might not have played well against United in the recent game (hardly a disaster) but what about the previous ones, like last season for instance?
  10. We obviously still need to do our job and win the game but god, why are we playing tomorrow and not today?!
  11. Pretty sure Terry only came to people's mind recently when in the weeks/months before that (not that he hasn't played well), people were constantly talking only about Hazard for the award. Surprised there is no mention of Fabregas particularly from those who listed more than 2-3 players.
  12. Obviously that is the most important but if we can help improve the squad depth, especially if some players were to leave, then I don't see why we should pass up the opportunity to sign a someone like Milner who won't cost a thing.
  13. Milner spent most of his time at Villa (and at City) playing out wide before being moved to the middle few games before he left Villa. That 'not a top 4 player' argument is not convincing really. You're speaking as if the all top 4 teams have players of the highest quality. Heck, you could probably pick out a few players from our squad right now who isn't a top 4 player. Just because some players aren't, doesn't mean they won't be good/effective for us. United have had plenty of those down the years under Fergie and we've had those as well.
  14. Crystal Palace's away form under Alan Pardew. Only faced 2 tough teams but 7 wins from 8 is quite good (and yikes!).
  15. That game won't matter as long as we beat Crystal Palace.
  16. The only aspect Ramires has over Milner is his physical attributes - pace, stamina, strength etc. Otherwise, Milner is much better technically (not just a bit) - he can pass the ball, can cross the ball and heck even deliver proper set pieces into dangerous areas. Not sure why you mentioned Milner's problems in midfield when he's more of a wide player than anything else. He has shown he can player well in that position and combine, play 1-2s effectively with other creative players around him. His combination with Silva in particular has always been great to watch - the movement, the simple passing - and that has always been effective.
  17. Nigel Pearson has apologised to the journalist he blasted yesterday... And then, someone from BBC asked him if he's considered Anger Management...
  18. Wait, what? Ramires a better footballer than Milner?!
  19. Pearson spoke about Leicester having to deal with criticism this season and that journalist just asked which one was he referring to.
  20. On 17 league assists now. Need 4 more to set a new record. 4 games to go.
  21. Was quite poor in the first half but much better in the second. Took his goal well and could have easily scored a hat-trick with better finishing and luck.
  22. I know sometimes the situation requires it but if we can, we should really stop Ramires from trying to be a playmaker. Every time he tries to pass the ball, be it short or long, it goes straight to an opposition player. On the other hand, the goal yesterday was quite something though and it was with his weaker left foot.
  23. As Mourinho alluded to yesterday, we can't get complacent and must be professional to get the job done. We really shouldn't make this harder than it should be. And even though Palace can be erratic at times, they are a decent side and one filled with plenty of pacey players!
  24. That's bizarre really. He was asked one simple question and he gave that kind of response. Had Mourinho done that...
