  1. It's pre season so not over hyping. but looking forward to new season and see how handles till December.
  2. I think the same, CR makes the difference as well having an awesome Modric. CR gone, I think Modric is fading, but we shall see.
  3. Yeah I'll take him. Let's see what kind of deal we'll work out. Surely they will want us to loan them Reece....
  4. Can anyone cared to explain why Bundesliga has all of a sudden a rush to buy youth from England?
  5. Yeah I like the white one. Why they couldn't make the home kit like that? And it seems like we have the Russia colors on the collar.
  6. Frank Lampard says he wants Callum Hudson-Odoi to sign a new deal at Chelsea, amid interest from Bayern Munich. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11764055/callum-hudson-odoi-frank-lampard-wants-chelsea-winger-to-sign-new-deal
  7. Yeah If he don't want to sign a new contract then he will be sold. Too bad as he was going to get a lot of opportunities at Chelsea.
  8. I wanted to see Castillo play. What happen to that guy?
  9. This one is working for me: http://www.dubs.cc/ch2/
  10. sigh Conte is the only manager that I feel like we screwed up. Everything in the past don't care for much. Well Mourinho first time. Mourniho second time, out of his depth. But Conte was top class and we would have build something nice with him.
  11. Yup the reason why these types of buys are always low risk. You can have a resale value. Buys like drinkwater have no resale value what soever.
  12. Seriously? Okay he's getting the sack! 🤓 Well this is the problem I said time and time again, the reason why we are stuck with mediocrity is that after a manager gets sack the new manager comes in and the players have a reset. When a manager knows what to get rid of and what to get, its too late because he's no longer here. Conte was the example of the players he wanted to get rid of and get but the board screwed it up and we got stuck with mediocrity. New manager same shenanigans.
  13. For me the best manager that we can get as an ex player. During the past few years he has been a great example and leader. He has trained under some of the best and he is one of the sharpest mind from our ex players. Definitely is a good risk to gamble. I think he can have a good impact on the team and improve season by season. He has come at the best time since for the new season our expectations are pretty low. This will give him time to get to grips with the nature of the job. All the best and looking forward to the new season.
  14. Bayern Munich sign Chelsea youngster Jamal Musiala The 18-year-old was born in Germany and has played for both England and Germany U16s https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11755424/bayern-munich-sign-chelsea-youngster-jamal-musiala
  15. I'm not expecting much for the new season. I actually expect us to finish like in 6th place and win nothing.
  16. I appreciate all this guy did for the team and hope he enjoys his time at Real Madrid. However I just get this feeling that he might not be as good as they want. Kinda of like Bale, and hence the club will never be in love with him like Chelsea was. But the good thing is that he didn't burn his bridges like Courtois.
  17. I'm okay with this. Need depth and he is good to have at the team. Like Jorgi he should be better next season.
  18. True point. About Bielsa, that guy is a master. Lampard is just starting. One thing I like about Lampard is his mental ability to learn quickly. I'm sure he would have learned a lot from those encounter with Bielsa. That being said the fact that many youth are wanting to stay is a positive. Because for AGES and I mean ages I been wanting a manger that will do youth. Even if we crash and burn I will be happy with that. I remember wanting a manager that will do just that since after RDM. But instead we went for big names in Mourinho, Conte and Sarri. And by that we got stuck with dead wood and lost time on youth.
  19. 50-50, but after gambling on Mourinho coming back, Conte and Sarri then it was about time we gamble on ex players. Like I said in the past this season is a write of, so even if we suck no one will care. Hence perfect time for a one year experience at the club as management and what not.
  20. If we bring more of the old guard that should help. Because remember Juventus was so crap for ages until they restructured board and set up. I think with Cech, and if lampard and Maka returns we are going in the right direction. Want Ballack in, and also Fabregas some day. That guy is very smart and can do great at Chelsea in some sort of position.
  21. To me it seems like a great season for him to start. A season where it basically considered a write of, so no pressure at all. If he does comes good, no doubt he will be face of the club next season. Lets see how he does in the new season.
  22. Well it was a good loan now we can let the next manager get the striker he wants. For now we do with what we have and see if any striker from the youth surprise us like Tammy or what not.
  23. But United and Arsenal are not that great neither. Lampard compare to Ole and Emery might get the best of those two.
  24. The only thing I'm glad is that we finally will have a chance to introduce some youth. With Lamps and Jody, youth should get some chances. I have always said I don't care who the manager is, if you give time to youth you got my backing. I cut slack to managers who will do youth. Think this is the best we will get as far as for youth.
