there is a lot of speculation, I just hope the comm shield will have something somewhat resembling our regular lineup i expect 4-3-2-1 mikel-lamps-ramires hazard-marin( or mata if he is available) torres I dont understand the rush to play mata/oscar/hazard all at once right off the gate, they are 23 or under lol, they have so many years together, by playing them you are either sacrificing mikel or lamps because there is no way rambo isnt starting and tbh the thought of only ramires and possibly lamps/mikel playing defensive mid is not something we should consider especially against better opposition.... some food for thought

dont ever belittle the king like that again, look at his goal scoring record in the UCL, he was lights out almost every year, ESPECIALLY when we needed him minus the 2008 ucl final. He started of poorly in 08-09 but saved us with his hattrick against liverpool. Whenever we needed drogba he was there and if barca didnt pay off the refs in 09, he got us like 2-3 penalties. Didier will be the greatest striker to have played for this club.

If hazard manages to rack up say 7-10 goals and 8-12 assists and does well in setting up nando, he will more thna have done his job in HIS FIRST SEASON. Secondly, he can have a shite year and we wont give up on him, he will be our focal point for the next few years, so any of you doubters get used to the fact that he will be our central playmaker and the player we depend on. Yeah im sorry I didnt state it better, to us I'd rather risk the 10-12 million in hopes he will get back its all really cross-benefit ratios we are dealing with, you believe its less likely he will come to form and we have more than enough talent for him to be replaced whereas I think he may be able to play at a top level and we can swallow 10-12 million if he doesnt. lol funny story after the match I was a handful of lads who actually knew him so i kept screaming his name eventually he signaled to me and ran over he signed my shirt and took a picture with me. everyone asked for one he only signed a few and said im sorry but he is special pointing to me, happiest day of my life.

a personal anecdote amindst the arguement: After the game lucas was giving an interview with chelsea tv, I screamed his name for a few mins he looked at me and gave me a thumbs up sign. After the interview he jogged over and signed my shirt etc and everyone asked for an autograph he was like sorry i cant, but he is special ( i guess since i actually knew him) and signed a few took a pic with me and left. Made my day when you have moments like this you dont need anything except chelsea, no point of arguing and making fun of each other we are all here for our love of chelsea and lets not argue heatedly about it. im from the states mate, during the champions league/pl games were during classes, I just skipped them, priorities in life, youll have a million university classes, but chelsea only won the CL once
