this transfer window started out strong but it seems like we are just trolling and putting in bids for anyone who might want to leave and MAY want to come to london
-
its not that he isnt class, he is and we know all about him, but we put 50 mill into nando, we ALL know here about how nando acts when there is competition, i understand that we shouldnt just build to his demands, but to his credit he has really picked it up the last few months under di Matteo and then euros, we have to let him play AT LEAST half the season out and have studge as our backup, I know cavanis value will go up by then and we might end up shelling out a lot, but we have a good enough team that even wthout our strikers firing, we can maintain a 4th spot and pay a heavier price in the january transfer window. May I remind, Torres was the best cf in england from 07-10 world cup, when he got injured, let him at least try to make it thru a peaceful pre-seaso w/o the transfer distraction
-
fuck this seems liek it is picking up steam, we cannot afford a not-confident nando again !!!, he finally seems to be getting his touch back
-
why do none of you see that studge could be the player we BASICALLY rasied and developed, he has shown such promise, 11 goals in 28 games is a very good return as an out of position winger if you ask me, plus he was so excited to watch down the side, its funny the people who would rise everytime he touched the ball in anticipation of a moment of brilliance with during the first half of the season, are now the guys who are destructing him on this forum, its a god damn shame
-
the day we start developing a young talent, like studge/lukaku, who excuse me, dont bag 20-30 goals, one being out of position, in their first full year, get linked with shit like this, really bugs me, we CANNOT and I mean CANNOT go into the year with an unconfident torres, it will spell trouble for the rest of the year.
-
has it been wrapped up or still speculation?
-
according to who mate?
-
yeah torres isnt weak, studge is pretty strong/fast/physical plus mikel/lamps in the mid are always rocks we dont need rugby sized athletes lol, our back 4 aside from ash are all big men too, I am quite content with this team, i mean im indifferent to getting anymore signings
-
In bigger games I trust cahill for some reason, he has matured a lot as a player but I feel as if cahill sometimes knows his responsibilities more.
-
im worried this is the end for studge
-
have we locked him up yet or is there a chance this may fall thru
-
definition of a troll
-
do you guys think he is the preferred option to cahill because I highly doubt we are benching our captain.
-
relax mate, if he doesnt score in that game, there will be a 2 week analysis on how the moment he showed his golden boot somehow affected his performance and how he lacked the confidence to score in a big game in front of his hometown crowd, or some other VALID arguements Ive seen on this thread
-
he got fucked for the captaincy tho, really tore thru the england squad, essentially lose capello his job.
-
im just going to say for a while the starters were malouda/kalou/drogs/essien/ashley/anelka would find it kinda hard to be racist when more than half the starters are black, number 2 everyone says things in the heat of the moment, even if he said it he didnt mean it as a racist comment.
-
mate i saw the lads lose to aston villa 3-1 this year for my first stamford bridge experience, I hope your more fortunate
-
im going to psg/chelsea on the 22nd, are nando/mata going or r they still on break
-
hulk is 26, schurlle is 21, and lot less costly, played in a better league with better competition, its harder to say who is more valuable but we have so many attacking options, it would nice to buy a slightly younger talent, in any case this team will be competitive for years to come, cahill-luiz-rambo-torres-mata-ashley-ivanovic-studge-marin-bertrand, kdb, lukaku ALL have AT LEAST 3-4 good years left aside from maybe ashley.
-
First one I one hundred 100% agree, he dispossessed messi then gave that brilliant thru ball, 2nd time however, I understand lamps dispossessed fabregas and gave the brilliant ball once again, but a chip from that angle, from that distance, in that circumstance, legitimately only happens once in every world class player's career.
-
I think our line up is cech ivanovic/maicon-cahill/terry/luiz-ashley ramires-lamps/mikel Not sure- hazard-mata torres but the for sure starters at the beginning of the season are the back 5, ramires, hazard, mata and nando, not sure about the other deep-lying mid or right winger
-
have we already forgotten our savior ramires, whose speed/brilliance were arguably the most important moments against barcelona
-
the third kit looks more like an army training shirt than a football kit
-
It will be one of the greatest regrets of all chelsea fans if we let danny boy go and he knocks in 18-25 goals for another premier league side, which we all know he is fully capable of.
-
the one thing im concerned about is how small he is, I kno rambo/mata/silva are prime examples of how a smaller body can fare in the premier league but they also have an extraordinary gift, mata/silva with immaculate technique and rambo with his speed. I feel like its a big gamble but it is probably well worth it as it seems we are revolutionizing the way football is played at the bridge in comparison to recent years.
