So to summarize we basically need better depth in players to create competition and hunger within the team. Agree 100%. We need to get rid of players like Malouda, Kalou, Bosingwa, Lampard (Yes I said Lampard) and replace them with great young players, We need an overhaul in the summer, it's as Simple as that, whether we replace them with players we have bought or players from our youth system it shouldn't matter, the deadwood and Veterans need to go. I think 2 wingers need to be signed. One on the left which would allow Mata to go into the Middle (and thus we gain a CAM) and another young winger (Willian/KDB/Krasic) to compete with Sturridge, this would give us alot of options, we could use Sturridge as a RW or CF and Mata as a LW or CAM. AT LEAST 2 more attacking players need to be added, and possibly a third (a striker) depending on what we do with Torres and Drogba

I can't see this happening TBH, Hazard will want to hold out until the summer because he believes Madrid will come knocking, which they probably will, but even if they don't other big clubs will than our chances of signing him become small. The only possible way to get him would be to pay Lille 33 million pounds ( 40 million Euros) and than sweet talk Hazard, tell him about our project and ambitions, Hazard along with Mata being key components to that and Hazard coming to Chelsea and eventually later moving to Madrid or Barca

I like Luiz but he does make alot of silly mistakes, He has alot of potential and skills but are those skills suitable for a CB? DM is no longer an option and RB is unlikely, although worth a try. I honestly think Cahill is here to start ahead of Luiz, but a Luiz-Cahill partnership should be tried too. I'd like to buy a RB as well because If Ivanovic plays at RB we only have one CB for cover and if Ivanovic is forced to play CB than were stuck with Bosingwhat? (that's what I'm gonna call him as he doesn't know whats going on around him 90% of the time), I don't think Cahill alone is the answer to such a massive problem, our defense.
